Samuel / Diana / Ren

Diana fiddled with the ends of her sleeves. Her eyes darted around nervously.

"Darling, you okay?"

Her heart skipped a beat.

"I'm okay," she said softly.

"Great, how about some food?"

"Damn Sammy boy. You just might manage to steal my heart at this rate."

Lies. He had stolen her heart almost a month back. His sweet words and calming voice had managed to make her fall.

Samuel rolled his eyes. "Don't call me that."

"Sammy boy! Sammy boy~ I'm finally meeting my Sammy boy~" she sang, skipping in front of him.

"Your Sammy boy? Since when did I become your Sammy boy?"

Diana froze momentarily. "Uh."

Lucky for her, he laughed. "Alrighty then. I'm your Sammy boy."

Of course, he sounded completely unaffected. But inside he was dying.

'Her Sammy boy? What even! How am I supposed to react to that?'

His stomach was twisting and turning. His heart was pounding and his face felt hot.

"Samuel? We've reached."

He snapped out of his thoughts, turning and smiling at her sheepishly.

"Let's go in shall we?"

She nodded. They walked in, Diana feeling awestruck by the ambiance.

"This is so cool," she whispered.

Samuel laughed at her shortage of vocabulary.

"I know right? Wait till your taste the food."

Diana sped towards the counter, immediately surveying the menu.

"I'll have a Mac n cheese, please," she said.

"I'll have that too. And two sprites."

"Alright then, you can sit down by the stage and we'll bring your food."

"Thanks, Ren."

"You know each other?" asked Diana as they made their way to the table.

"Yup. I'm kind of like a regular customer."

She nodded, smiling. The silence was anything but awkward. Diana stared around fascinated, but she didn't manage to notice the pair of eyes that never left her.
