Nicole's POV

"Hello?" I answer my phone.

"Damn woman." Billy grumbles. "You know I tried getting a hold of you several times yesterday and the day before."

"I'm sorry I had a lot going on." I whisper. "Okay wait that sounded awful and selfish I'm sorry. How is your grandma doing?" I ask him.

"She passed away." He says sadly. "About four hours after you left."

"Billy I'm so sorry. Want me to come up there?" I ask.

There's a knock on my front door.

"Shit, hold on Billy." I mumble.

I stretch the phone line and cord as far as it can go, and reach throwing the door wide open. It's Andy he has his sunglasses on and is looking away.

When he does look up at me he is confused. "Hi." I whisper.

"Hey." He says.

"Come in." I tell him.

As I walk back toward's the desk where the phone is usually sitting Billy speaks. "Hot stuff there?" He asks.

I laugh quietly. "Um yeah." I admit.

"How's that going?" He asks.

"Mmm good." I mumble.

I'm not exactly sure what I should and shouldn't tell Billy yet.

"Anyways, I'm not going to have you come up here I'm going to get through the funeral and probably come back to Chicago the rest of the summer if that's cool?" He asks.

"Yeah that's cool." I say nodding not that he can see it. I can feel Andy's eyes on me watching me as I pace around in front of the desk.

"Okay well I'll be down on Saturday then." He says.

"Okay see ya in a couple days." I tell him.

"Bye." He says.

"Bye." I say and hang the phone up I spin around not realizing Andy is right behind me, he grabs me around the waist to steady me.

"Billy?" He asks.

I nod. "What exactly am I supposed to tell him?" I ask.

He raises his eyebrows in confusion at my question.

"Okay look Billy is my best friend okay I may not tell him everything but he did see you kiss me which is your fault and I have to admit I hate lying to him but I imagine you do not want me to tell him the truth but I've got to give him a story Andy." I explain.

He sighs. "What did he assume?"

"That you were a man whore." I smirk.

He chuckles. "That isn't very creative."
