"Oh! I can help with that!" Abruptly, Tom shifts into a grey and white wolf.
I scream. "Tom!? There's a bear in here! Did he eat you? Nooooo, Toooooom. You were so young!"

"Ow."
The bear shakes and throws up my best friend. "Pond! You're back! . . . Oh, the bear ate your clothes."
"Shit! What bear?"
"He's gona now, silly. He threw you up and vanished. POOF!"
"Poof?"
"Poof!"
