"Bartender Panotes, let us take care of them for you. They will understand why younglings are not allowed in taverns," and he smirked at them wickedly.

The two were truly in trouble. Before the bartender could reply, the wolves leapt into the air and landed directly in front of the two.

They proceeded to open their mouths to expose their sharp white teeth and long wet tongue.

Shark and Troy's heart were already racing towards the door without them.

"Run for it, now," shouted Shark but before they could move, the two wolves in front of them jumped over them and obstructed their path.

The rest of the wolves smashed the chairs and tables and some even jumped onto the metal chandelier and started swinging on them, shouting in their gruff voice, "Food, food. Fresh food."

The rest of the tavern's patrons fled like a fearful mob, not looking back to see if the two were safe.

The leader of the Silvertooths, the tallest, told one of his pack members, "Secure the door. We cannot let our meal run away."

The two who swung on the chandeliers now stood in front of the exit, guarding it like a vault which led to valuable riches.

The leader looked at his pack members and said with a smirk, "Who wants the first bite?"

All the Silvertooths opened their mouths and revealed again their long, drenched, red, tongue.

Troy, whose chest seized propelling said, "Like the battle with Panthora, we have to fight for our survival."

Shark approved and Troy immediately dropped to the ground and landed on his hand, he kicked the leader's feet, and Shark gave him an uppercut in the face, sending him crashing to the ground.

The two could feel the surge of courage but most of all, of hope; hope they would escape somewhat unharmed.

"How dare you! You will regret such."

"Devour them."

The rest of the Silvertooths charged at Shark, howling, but Troy intervened. He had that feeling again, of nostalgia. It was guiding him on what to do. A thick breeze came from his hands and it flung the wolves into different directions.

This was the same feeling he had when he was backed into a corner by Panthora, but it did not last long. With all his effort he could not summon it again.

Maybe it was because he was too afraid to move as he saw the leader rise up and howl to the roof, fuming mad.

Before the leader could do anything, a river of water from Shark's hand sent him to the roof and then to the cold oak floor, down and out.

"Shark?" said Troy.

Shark too was struggling to repeat his feat. The fear from being outnumbered prevent his new gift from helping further.

"Everyone, eliminate them, now."

All the Silvertooths joined in on the assault. It looked like they sought revenge for what the two had done to their pack leader.

They were about to birth ice spikes from their huge, grotesque mouth when the figure in the black robe who was the only one that remained pulled it off to reveal his identity.

"Who are you?"

"If you know what's good for you then you will not interfere," said one of the Silvertooths.

The warrior was tall and muscular with long legs, brawny arms, and the head of a cheetah. He had green eyes and a long yellow tail.

He nodded in adherence and the Silvertooths looked away and were about to release what they were planning, when the stranger simultaneously electrocuted all the wolves with jolts of lightning from his massive thunderbolt like claws.

Shark and Troy were trapped in the middle. They did not move a muscle. Both dreaded being electrocuted like their adversaries from the ropes of raw energy ensnaring them.

They stared at the wolves which were crying out in agony until they all concurrently fell to the floor like crumbling buildings.

The tall figure slowly glided up to the two and looked down at them with his intimidating stature.

The two did not know whether they had won the battle or whether the cheetah like man desired them for the same purpose.

The two proceeded with their earlier plan and headed straight for the door while the cheetah like man shouted, "No, come back here, come back to me at once."

The two broke through the mould covered door to a grime road with green hedges on both sides.

Outside, the two observed the peculiar coned shaped roofs, the trees on top of houses, and the large swaying forest and a fair-haired boy, with two enormous thunderbolts strapped to his back.

The boy rapidly ran down the road and hoisted himself into the air and then to the ground and aimed his fist into the grime road, releasing a jolt of lightning, which slithered its way like a snake towards the red robed figure, the Thief.

The Thief turned around and observed the fast-approaching lightning, but he could not avoid it. He was electrocuted all over. An explosion followed which sent him soaring into a nearby hedge.

The boy propelled his hands toward the Thief and sent swaying ropes of lightning at him, but just in time, the Thief dematerialized out of its path and the lightning ropes collided with the hedge, splitting it apart.

Shark and Troy did not wait to find out what was transpiring. They had their own problems to worry about; however, the fair-haired boy reinforced their conception. Humans did in fact live in the foreign land they were succumbed too.

They scuttled past the boy and headed straight into the woods which surrounded the village.

"Chi-taki (Kai-talk-e)!" shouted the boy to the cheetah like man who had emerged from the black straw, pyramid roof tavern.

"What's going on? Who are those young warriors running away from you?" asked the faired-hair boy.

"Do not you worry Arion (Are-e-on)," replied Chi-taki. "I can handle this. You return to whatever you were doing."

Chi-taki darted past Arion and headed towards Troy and Shark who were now nearing the thick forest.

Arion walked over to where the Thief had dematerialized and knelt down to the road like it held some type of clue to the whereabouts of the Thief.

He grasped a clump of the dirt where the Thief had vanished and analyzed it. He had his answer.

Pallas came from behind Arion and demanded answers. "Where is the Thief? Please do not tell me you allowed him to get away from you, like the incompetent Crius."

Arion did not reply to the Lyiade. He stood up and released all the contents he held in his hand.

"Do not worry your beady little head off about it. I will bring the Thief to you. I guarantee you that."

Lightning enshrouded Arion as he looked down at Pallas as if he was superior to the Lyiade. He left Pallas behind who seemed insulted for not being properly acknowledged.

Question:

1) What is your first impression of Arion ?
