The four could see the saddened expression on Lord Valliantious' face. The fortress was no longer impenetrable. Omegon, the Messiah of Darkness was able to have his warrior enter and steal scrolls which they assumed meant no good for the Light.

Valliantious gathered his thoughts and continued. "He made it so only the Hyods could access all the secrets. However, they had to follow certain paths and acts and have certain items before they were granted passage into it."

How was it possible for a Dark Warrior to infiltrate the Archives, considering they had to possess the specific instructions on how to enter which only the Hyods were privileged too?

The rumours incited must be true. Rothom must have informed the Messiah of Darkness on how to enter the Archives, meaning he was no longer on the side of Light.

Vallaintious carried on, regardless of the guilty verdict plastered on the faces of the chosen warriors.

"Lord Rothom manufactured unique items for each Hyod to use as a key into the Archives. I was given a small key in the form of a diamond sword."

Arion was interested more in why Rothom changed allegiance. With the correct information he might be able to convince Lord Valliantious to let go of the little hope he had.

"When did Lord Rothom apparently betray the Hyods?"

Valliantious sighed at Arion's question. "It happened in the Second Great War. Lord Rothom was aiding the Hyods and the warriors of the Othyrus Castle in the battle against Omegon and his followers whom desired the world to return to the Age of Dominance, where only the cruel and strong held power over those they enslaved."

The memory was fresh as the succulent gold pomapple fruit. All the Lord of Wind had to do was close his eyes and he was pulled back in time as if a rope was tied to his midriff and yanked on by the enemy in the dark.

The Second Great War so fierce and foul. It was fought on a dark and dusty field. The Hyods were doing their best to stop the assault from the stormy sky, the snowy mountains, the rushing waters, the trampling ground and the shaking beneath their feet.

A group of white tiger Morphmals, dressed in brown loincloths and golden amours were about to send hurdling spears of ice at Valliantious who was busy fighting bat winged warriors in the air.

Rothom from underneath the Morphmals hurled out his massive body, sending the clan into the air and back down, crashing to the rock plane.

"That will teach you to stab one in the back when they are not your foe at the moment," hollered Rothom in a grumpy voice.

Rothom unlike most was a giant. He had long black dreads with steel tips. His muscular body was draped in dark blue and silver armour.

On his back were two pairs of bronze and white wings like a bat and an eagle. He had golden eyes like the colour of the sun and silver horns on each side of his head. He was wielding his sturdy twin silver axe.

Rothom took his shimmering weapon and severed several of the Morphmals in the chest but another onslaught of Oxidan came his way.

He raised his massive hand into the heavens and it seemed like he literally pulled tornados from the very sky, sending the winds rolling into the oncoming assault, disbursing them into different parts of the battlefield.

"Let it be known that those who fight unfair shall receive unfair treatment," exclaimed Rothom.

He raced deeper into the war, rampaging through while slicing and tackling armies of Dark Warriors.
