How Rhys ended up sleeping on the couch for a week.

___

"He is old enough to know, and you are the one of us that really knows what he is going through now." His mate said, her eyes burning. Rhys tried to open his mouth but Feyre stoped him. "I am female, and I was human when I was in his age, so this one is on you."

"I barely remembered..."

"Stop it." Feyre said, picking up her bag. "Just do it, and do it neatly. I will be home by night fall. Don't give me that look, just tell him, and don't make a fuss."

"But..." Rhys started again. Hoping not to do this.

"I did the talk about his titel and what will be expected of him one day, to explan sex is nothing comparied to tell a 14 year old abute what hapends when we die." Rhys couldn't say no to that, even if he rather do something else.

It was not that it was embarrassing to talk about. No... It was the fact that his son was growing up and Rhys wanted him to stay as a child, innocent and unknowing of the world. He had forced Feyre to talk to him about his title, for Rhys couldn't bear himself to think about it. That his son one day needed to feal the burden of this crown and responsibility. She was right, to have the "talk" was nothing compared to that...

He walked down, finding Nyx siting in the sofa reading. Rhys sat down opposite him, reading the title to the book.

"The Glass Throne? A new one?"

"Yes, it is interesting. A tale of an assassin fighting for her freedom. I think there's more books to the series, aunt Nesta recommended them to me." Nyx said in return, closing the book. "Have I missed something?" Rhys shook his head.

"No no... I just wanted to come down here and see what you where doing." He said back. Silently adding that fact that he had been forced to.

"I was reading, you can leave now... I don't have any classes today."

"I know, I just want to spend time with you." This was not going like Rhys would like.

"I am reading, and I would like to know how it is going for the assassin." Yea, this conversation had not gone as Rhys planed. Not that he had a good plan from the start.

"You like the Assassin?" Rhys asked, trying to move the conversation to the topic he needed it to be.

"She is sassy, and fearless. I don't think you would like her." Nyx said back, laughing.

"I like sassy and fearless." Rhys said back. Over exaggerated his reaction.

"Yea and you tell mom that she is cruel." Nyx opened his book again, Rhys bit down on his tung, not sure how or when Nys had heard him call Feyre that... The door opened up, and Cassian entered the house.

Cass, I need your help. Rhys send out.

With what? Cassian stoped in his steps. I have promised to be clean for mine and Nestas date night.

I just need help giving Nyx the talk. He saw how his brother held back a laugh. Please...

You will never hear the end of it. Cassian was grinning.

And I except that... I wait... I need to go. Thanks for taking over Cass! Rhys winnowed out from the house, emerging high in the sky over Velaris, spreading out his wings. And Rhys could swear that he hears Cassian laugh.

Rhys would never edmite for Feyre the fact that he had been the last of his brother to accely have the talk... Rhys wasn't even sure if he ever had one or if he just pieced it together along the way. Cassian on the other hand, he had received more of a talk. He could take over.

___

Azriel entered the house, over hearing Cassian talking...

What in the cauldron?

"So you see Nyx, different parts will grow..." Azriel entered the room, finding a tomato red Nyx sitting in front of Cassian, who had his hand up moving them back and forth to show the growing in size he was talking about.

"Cass... Why are you..." Azriel started, Nyx got up.

"Are we having our Flying lesson now?" The boy said, still tomato red in his face.

"Yes Nyx... We are having it now. See you later Cassian."

"Hey! I wasn't done!"

"I guess you are!" Azriel called over his shoulder taking Nyx with him leaving the house and heading for the old town house. "Why was he explaining that for you?"

"I have no Idea... Dad came down to disturb me while I was reading, and then Cassian came and started to talk about... That..." The 14 year old made a noise as if he was on his way to throw up. Azril nodded.

"Don't tell your mom, but I think your dad tried to get away from telling you just that..." He chuckled. "And Feyre will not be happy to know he got away."

"Is what Cass said true?" Nyx asked, Azriel froze midair. Sudely understanding why Rhys had opted to leave this to Cassian.

"Yes... But I think you should talk to you dad about that." He had no intention on having this talk with Nyx. But he could share some wisdome. "I can tell you this, I don't care what details Cass told you, or what you know from before. Always, and I mean always make sure your partner want to do it with you. If you are unsure for just one blink of an eye, ask, If they hesitate stop to make sure they are fine. And if anyone do not show you the same respekt, then you leave." Nyx nodded in return.

"Can I just go back home to read my book now?" he then asked. Azriel smiled.

"Yes, do so." Nyx flew back to the house, hiding in his room and continued to read his book.

Azriel landed up in the training rings up at the House of Winds. Finding Nesta and Gwyn there. The two of them sparing, Azriel looked over to Gwyn nodding in approval to her technique and form.

"Hey!" Nesta said holding up her hand to signal a pause. "What are you doing here?"

"Looking at you two." Azriel picked up a sword. "And to train."

"Only that?" Nesta asked back. Azriel nodded, and started to warm up.

___

Rhys was quite happy with himself at the end of the day. Feyre didn't need to know, and Cass had done the talk. Win win for him. That was at least what he thought until Feyre walked into the room, and gathered his duvet and pillows.

"Feyre darling?" He asked.

"You are sleeping on the couch." Feyre said back. "You didn't do the one thing I asked of you!"

"How?"

"Nesta told me... Azriel took over after Cassian started... Rhys you can't just put things like this on other people!" She put the pile of his stuff on hos knee. "So you are sleeping on the couch tonight, and the next."

"Feyre..." Rhys didn't know what to say or do to fix this.

"I am not asking much from you, just to be honest with me and that is sometimes too much to ask you for." She pointed at the door. And Rhys left the room in shame. He had really screwed this up.

____

Yea, Rhys is not the best at just talking abute things.
