Character Aesthetic & Authors Note

Thank you so much for choosing to start reading LEILA. This is my first book and while I'm currently up to chapter 32, I know there's a lot in the earlier chapters that need editing or removing. So bare with me as I work on my style of writing and characters.

Comments and even spelling or grammer corrections are greatly appreciated but I am Australian so for all my US friends, a lot of words will look wrong. Especially anything that you would usually spell with a 'Z' eg. specialise. Another thing to keep in my are some words, phrases and names for items that may not sound correct e.g THONG/s are flip flops or jandals.

Regardless, I hope you enjoy my first book.

Character Aesthetic

I find character aesthetics so difficult. I've got such clear images in my mind of each character, sometimes you just can't find everything you want.

Let me know how you see the characters?

I always imagine Mica with a big boyish grin, laughing. Dani with a friendly face saying hi to everyone. Elijah with watchful eyes and ready to joke with the boys. Leila like she has tunnel vision unless she's talking with you or see's someone in need.
