"I ask you this again you fool, who sent you" Adrastos asked firmly after swatting Khaos hand away from his face.

"The commander of Nephtir went to us who works as a mercenery to eliminate you, couldn't decline since his offer is good" Khaos answered nonchalantly placing both his hand behind his head

"So that fucker already made a move huh, it seems like my plan is going smoothly as i expected" He mused making Khaos look at him with interest, " so answer me, you live or you die?" Adrastos asked holding Khaos by the face

"As much as i am tempted to die, i still want to amuse myself and watch things unfold." He responded smirking not daring to blink

" Since i don't feel the need kill you, i will let you live"

"How nice of you, your highness"

"I will let you go with a condition" Adrastos smirked leaning closer on Khaos, "Be my spy to that stupid empire"

"What will i get in return?" Khaos asked as their nose touched smirking back

"Name your price"

"And are you certain that i will not turn my back on you?" Khaos mused completely amused by the crown prince

"I am aware if someone is a friend or foe, with your behavior i can say that you would not" Adrastos answered letting go of Khaos as he fixed his clothes as silence surrounds them.

"....Let me be at your side" Khaos answered sitting down on Adrastos bed and look at Adrastos with seriousness

"Huh?"

"If I'll be your spy then after this i want to be at your side all the time, serve you" Khaos repeated

"That is odd but as long as you will be useful then i will accept" Adrastos affirmed offering his right hand for Khaos to shake which the latter immediately grab

"Than its a deal your hig--"

"ARGEN WHAT'S TAKING YOU SO LONG!?" an unfamiliar voice asked emtering hastily Adrastos tent but before he could completely enter, he saw a shining strings and before he could react, his head was cut off and went flying and his body fell limp as he bath on his own blood

"Weak." Adrastos said as he grab the sword beside his table pointing it at Khaos which made Khaos shocked and put his arm in the air

"I thought we have a deal your highness!?"

"We have, however, i cannot let you return to the enemy's base without a cut can i. That would make you suspicious and will make our deal in vain" Adrastos answered as Khaos just accepted letting the former cut him everywhere.

"Leave. Come back when you have important intel to give me" Adrastos dismissed him

Khaos went near him making Adrastos confused but was soon replaced with shock after Khaos kissed the tip of his nose. Adrastos was too stunned to speak.

"Till then your highness" Khaos bid his farewell not before he put his mask again leaving the irked Adrastos whose planning to use his string to choke the new ally he have.

"Your highness why did you let a mercenery who was ordered to kill you be on our side!?" Commander Montgomery fumed uterrly speechless with the information the crown prince had given him.

"He will be a great addition to my plan on finally ending this boring war" Was the crown prince's responded in a rather calm tone while holding a tea

"But your highness how can you be so certain that he would not expose and betray us!" demanded by the commander

"If that then i will be the one to shred him to pieces" Was just Adrastos retort

"Your highness, you bringing an ally who came from the enemy is a reckless move!" He debated again

"Is that so? I am precise with my desicion if you cannot accept that then just step aside and let me do all the work." Adrastos declared now looking at the stunned commander with his blue and red jeweled eyes

"As what we decided before we cannot let you enter the battle field and stain your hands" Commander Montgomery aimed as sweat trickled down into his face

"I am already in the battle field sir. The day i have killed a lowly assassin is where my hands was stained with blood" He answered Commander Montgomery looking at his hand

'I was born with the future of having my hand be stained, no matter what i do. Killing people who oppose me or my order is part of my life. That is also a destiny i cannot escape' He thought staring intently at his hand that seemingly painted with deep red as his sorrounding turned dark and people he have killed started walking on his way

"I do not fear death Commander" With that exclamation he left the troubled commander

since Khaos is a mercenary they have code names that is why the irrelevant side character called him Argen.

Another update lol. I am slow at updating since I'm busy with important things and often experience writer's block most of the time so i do hope you will understand me.
