"Should we really be destroying the empire where you once love?" Khaos said smirking but sweat drop evident on his face

"Aren't that brutal, but it doesn't sound bad at all. Call it, a payback" He said while chuckling and playing with Adrastos' hair making Kyrell grumble from his seat by the atrocious display of Khaos affection towards the tall man

"Destroying was good but you should consider taking back your place in there son. You are the most fit ruler to that land, in that way you can look of terror and see Emperor Claude sorrow. Just imagine the power you can hold by ruling two powerful empire" Lixieng suggested while smiling

"That isn't bad at all dad... It would be more even greater to see them suffer while I am at the top" Adrastos agreed and nodding his head in agreement

"I supposed they're currently having their own agenda on how to kill me"

"Could they really kill you?" The Archong asked making Adrastos laugh hysterically

"I'd like to see them try"

"They'll be dead before they could even slash my Prince' " Khaos said gripping his arm chair tightly

Kyrell could only sigh and look at the oozing bloodlust those three have

"My father, reported that they're currently requesting for the Command X to come back along with Knight Darcio" Kyrell reported making Adrastos smile wider

"Could they really convince them? I wonder if they can have the command unit i handle agree their request" He hummed, red and blue jeweled eyes glow darkly

"They will but then again the most possible thing our command unit could do was betray them during the battle, especially Sir Darcio"

"Darcio is a great spy, he could also pass as an actor at this point" Kyrell could not help but snicker with Khaos shaking his head while smiling

"You really do find the best people on your side Adrastos, I'm so proud of your judgements son" Lixieng complimented

"I can see who deserve to serve me and those who do not" Adrastos looking away and covering his face for them to not notice the thinge pink blush decorating his cheeks. Lixieng could only chuckle while ruffling Adrastos hair

"All we have to do not is wait for the war to begin"

Late at night

Claude was once again drowning himself from his misery by drinking alcohol.

"Adrastos, please forgive this father of yours. Please go back to me, I promise to be a better father to you" He sobbed while thinking how Adrastos changed

From the way he looks at him for love and admiration always looking for his attention to a teen Adrastos who became to distant himself from Claude to a now adult Adrastos could only look at him with disgust and only vengeance in mind

Claude never truly understand his first son not like he really tried to know his own son in the first place.

Oh how Claude really regret not giving time and showering his child with affection. He regret every actions he did, he was blinded by rage.

He was raised being abused and being titled as the unworthy and a commoner son that he never realized that he raised his own child just like the way he was raised.

"Oh Adrastos, I beg you please go back to father and let me give you all the love you wanted" He burst into tears once again

Not long after that and empty bottles scattered on the floor, he was knocked out cold as the disgusting smell of alcohol surrounds him.

He was too tired that he did not even notice the tall dark figure staring at him from the balcony, deep and glowing golden eyes seemingly to glare at him

"You want him to come back to you? and even dare to adress him as your son when you barely acred like a father to him. 'I regret everything' you say? Then just accept your fate and die already"

Clenching his teeth, he took one last glance before walking away

"Adrastos will never go back to this rotten place with you in here... Adrastos is my son, he is mine. I'll never let you take my son away from me"

The passed out Claude visibly tensed and shiver
