"When and where was Chelsea last seen?" Yin frowned. "Three nights ago, at her home. Her neighbour was the last one to see her," Do Hyun replied. "Let's go there then," she said, grabbing the house keys. "We have already looked there. You stay home and-" Yin glared at Do Hyun so intensely that he found himself following her out without another sound. Their car soon pulled over in front of Chelsea's apartment and they made their way upstairs, into her flat. "She left the door open?" Yin asked, surprised. "Yes," Do Hyun replied.

"How dumb does this girl think the police force is? Everything that could be derived from this place is already done," Do Hyun thought angrily to himself as Yin scanned the flat. "That's so unlike her," Yin said, "Even when we are in a hurry, Chelsea always locks the door."

Yin moved around the apartment. There were no signs of a struggle; nothing was damaged or out of place. She continued to look around as Do Hyun sighed to himself. "Did you find anything here?" she asked, turning to him.

"Yes, a couple of maps with pen marks on them."

"And?"

"All kinds of remote places around Seosan had been circled with a pen."

"And?"

Do Hyun was visibly irritated now. "And one building had two dots on it as if she had tapped with the pen on it. But we have gone there it's-"

"Let's go there now," Yin said, hurrying out of the flat.

"Yin, we have already looked there! It's an ordinary motel-"

"Hyun if you truly love me you wouldn't object so much! If you don't want to come, I'll go by myself!" she said, storming out. "Yin! Hold up!" Do Hyun called after her. "And while you're at it, get someone from the Crime Investigation Bureau to come along so we can search properly!" she said. "This girl is going to drive me crazy!" Do Hyun fumed as he made a call to the Crime Bureau.

An elegantly dressed woman, her hair tied up in a perfect bun and bold makeup adorning her face, glanced at the man sitting in front of her. It was quite difficult to tell from her youthful look that she was in her 50s. Beside her sat a man who had just turned thirty. He had silky long black hair, small eyes, a sharp jawline, and a very fair complexion. Dressed in black and around 5 foot 9 inches tall, he was shorter than everyone else present in the room, but sat with such an air of authority and dignity, that it reminded the other men in the room of their inferior position. Only two people were unaffected by his presence, and they were seated directly opposite him and the woman beside him, who was his mother.

These two were American; an elderly blond man dressed in a navy-blue suit and a blond woman with hazel brown eyes, dressed in a silk lavender gown coupled with diamond jewellery. The blond man introduced the damsel as his daughter. The young man looked at her indifferently while his mother smiled, "She is quite beautiful." "And here," the blond man continued, waving his hand, "Is the 500 million dollars we owe you for your services." One of the men standing behind him set a briefcase on the table in front of him, opening it to reveal the cash. The older woman snapped her fingers, upon which one of the men standing behind her took the briefcase and left the room. "I hope you know the consequences if the amount in the briefcase does not match the expectations," she said coldly. "I assure you, nothing of the sort will happen," the blond man said respectfully, "Shall we now proceed to talk about our arrangement?" "Your arrangement, you mean," the older woman still had a cold expression on her face. "What do you mean? Did we not agree on this together?" the blond man asked cautiously. "We did, 3 years ago, Night Sky," she replied, "It doesn't hold anymore."

"And may I know why, my lady?"

"Think about it," she replied, "We agreed to get your daughter married to my son 3 years ago, and then your daughter ran away, which you kept secret. We agreed to do business together, and I kept my side of the bargain by giving you access to all the major businessmen in Korea, and you quit giving me my share of the profits. Now when your men got caught by Korean police and you needed my help to save your ass, you generously step up with overdue money and marriage contracts?" the anger was visible in her eyes, but she kept her composure. "I agree that there has been a delay," Night Sky defended, "But I never intended to cheat you." "Keep your stories to yourself," the older woman said, getting up to leave. "I suggest you think again," Night Sky got up as well, pointing a gun at her.

The young man immediately got up, pulling out his own revolver and pointing it at Night Sky. Night Sky laughed. "Look around you, my son," he said. The young man's eyes moved around. Their own men had their guns pointing towards him and his mother. "So you've bought them out, you fox," the young man growled. "They would do you no harm if you agree to whatever I say," Night Sky's lips curled into a half-smile. "You, of all people, should know that the Min family is devoid of fear," the young man smirked, "Your third-class tricks don't work here."

The harsh sound of footsteps and faint cries of "Freeze!" interrupted their exchange. Muffled sounds of people rushing in and out could be heard from the floor below. Everyone present in the room widened their eyes. Night Sky quickly grabbed his daughter's hand and made his way out of the room while his men pointed guns at the young man and his mother. As soon as Night Sky was out of sight, the mother and son hurriedly made their way out of the room and searched for a way to exit the building. They were looking through the corridors and had narrowly escaped when the police reached the floor and shot the mother in her arm.
