It had been a few months since the incident happened, five doesnt even like to let y/n out of his sight anymore.

It was the middle of the night and y/n couldnt even sleep. She had this gut feeling that Matt was going to come back, after all five never killed him, he did however slam his head against the wall. But thats not death, but maybe it caused enough damage to just forget about y/n in the first place, that at least what y/n and five had hoped.

"five?" y/n whispered to five who was sleeping on the floor, as I said, he didn't like to let y/n out of his sight and her bed wasn't quite big enough for both of them unless they were sleeping right next to each other. But five didn't want to make the girl uncomfortable, especially after the incident with Matt.

"five" she repeated after not hearing a response 

"yes y/n?" he asked, y/n could tell she woke him up making her feel bad 

"I can't sleep." five sat up looking at the girl 

"what do you need? water? a snack?" He asked standing up ready to head to the kitchen, y/n then realized he was just in sweatpants. "oh uh, sorry, figured if I was sleeping in her for a few months I might as well get comfortable." he said looking at the floor.

"its ok, and no I don't need anything, I just want to talk to you." y/n said, five looked at the girl and began to sit on the bed.

Y/n scooted over giving him as much room as she could

"what do you wanna talk about?" five rested his head against the head rest and closed his eyes still tired

"anything, I just need to get my mind off of things." she said, but no response, just snowing. She looked over seeing five passed out, she smiled at the sigh. 

"five?" she whispers but just got mumbles back "lay down okay? get comfortable." she whispered, five then shuffled around and ended up laying on his back. 

Y/n still wasn't too tired, she had been having nightmares about Matt way too often, it got to the point she was nervous to go sleep because she didnt even want to see his face in her dreams.

She laid down and five pulled her towards him, her head was now rested on his bare chest, and she was now comfortable and sleepy knowing she was safe with him.

TIME SKIP

Five woke up seeing the beautiful girl laying down next to him, he smiled knowing they were like this all night. His thought were interrupted when Klaus barged into the room.

"Klaus! shut up ok? she's sleeping!" five whispered yelled

"five, he's here." Klaus said, five was confused and just gave Klaus a look "Matt, he's here." Five's face immediately hardened 

"Don't let him leave, I'll be down in a minute." five started to get up and that was when Klaus noticed his bare chest

"wait, did you two?-" Klaus started

"no!" five whisper yelled "get out!"

Klaus left and now five was getting dressed, ready for whatever bullshit was down stairs. He kissed y/n on the forehead and left the room. 

"Matt, I recommend you leave now before you regret it." five said entering the living room where Klaus and Matt were sitting in awkward silence 

"Listen, I lost my memory, all I remember is your face slamming me into the wall. Then I discover an old newspaper about a bank robbery my dad was a victim of, and your face is on the front for being the hero. I found out you live here and here I am." he explained, five was confused, could he believe him?

"Thats it? you don't remember anything?" Five asked sitting down 

"no, I don't"

"not even basically murdering y/-" Klaus started 

"Klaus, don't say her name, not around him." five said sternly

"who's name" Matt asked 

"nobody."

"listen, I just want my memories back, if I relive my day, meet people I forgot I could get memories back." he said 

"well you've met me, so now you can leave." five said before getting interrupted by y/n walking down stairs

"five? are you down here?" she asked, wondering where the man who was sleeping next to her all night went 

Five stood up from the couch immediately heading to the stairs, but curious Matt followed. 

"y/n, baby, go upstairs yeah?" five said, y/n froze making five turn around, she had seen Matt. 

y/n didnt know what to do, why were five and Matt talking? are they plotting something.

"y/n." Matt said staring at her now angry.

"okay, you better leave." five said standing infront of Matt 

"I want to talk to her." Matt said looking around fives shoulders to see her 

"Five, what's going on?" y/n asked

"y/n, you need to go upstairs okay?" five said not looking away from the man infront of him

"o-ok." y/n said heading back upstairs. 

"I need to talk to her. now." Matt said pushing past five

"you're gonna regret that." Klaus said in a sing song tune.

Five blinked infront of Matt halfway up the stairs, Matt got startled and almost fell down the stairs but five caught his shirt

"either you leave now, or I drop you off the roof of the building, your choice." Five said

"ill leave." Matt said taking deep breaths

"well lucky for you, you didnt get a choice." five blinked to the top of a random building in the city, and well, dropped him.

When five blinked back home he immediately ran up to y/n's room only to hear her crying and the door locked

"y/n, let me in, please." yes, five could just blink in, but he didnt want to invade on the girls privacy

After a minute y/n unlocked the door. Five immediately pulled the girl in for a hug not wanting to let go.

"im sorry he was here y/n, hes gone now, forever." he whispered into her hair

"wait, did you?" y/n asked implying that five murdered him, but she didnt want to say it out loud.

"yes, he's gone y/n, you're safe, ill keep you safe okay?" five promised, the girl couldnt tell whether she should be happy hes gone or feel bad that she's the reason for his death. 

"thank you five." she said into his chest 

"of course y/n, ill always save you." he said.

y/n and five pulled away from the hug only being a few inches away from eachother face. 

 After a minute five slammed his lips onto hers, it was nice, it felt perfect. 

They both pulled away with smiles on their faces.

"I love you y/n" five whispered against her lips

"I love you too."
