Chapter 40: Patch up

Jannat knocked on the door and entered while Mrs Sania looked at her and smiled. She walked and put the coffee for her on the table and then sat down on bed.

'How is Elam?' Mrs Sania asked

'Fine.' Jannat said and Mrs Sania got hold of coffee and looked at her face.

'Why you are sad?' Mrs Sania asked and she looked at her.

'It's Nothing.' Jannat said and looked down

'Janant I am still your Mum, tell me what's wrong?' Mrs Sania asked and Jannat looked at her then sadly sighed

'Mum I think I have make mistake by making Elam stay away from me.' Jannat said

'I know Jannat but there is never late go to him and tell him you love him.' Mrs Sania said while Jannat looked at her then bend down and put her head in her lap.

'I know Mum, I really do love him. I am madly in love with him but I don't think he love me back.' Jannat said while tears started coming from her eyes

'Why you think that?' Mrs Sania asked

'Because he stay so away from me. I think he don't love me back. He never praises me, he never look at him, he never say he is missing me, I think it doesn't matter to him whether I live with him or not. Even when I ask divorce he was so normal. He never hug me, never took me in his arms and never even kiss me not even a peck on a cheek. I know I ask for divorce but if he feel something for me he should have give me some clues just the way I am trying to give him.' Jannat said while crying and Mrs Sania sighed

'Jannat then talk to him. I really want you two to work out. But don't worry my dear, how he can't love you. He will because you deserve to be loved.' Mrs Sania said while she stayed still crying and Mrs Sania sat there pray for them to had a happy life together.

Elam was sitting working on the laptop in the sitting room. It was mid night and everyone was sleeping. He sighed then stood up and started walking towards Kitchen because he was feeling thirsty. He was walking and was about to walk passed from Mrs Sania's room when he suddenly stopped and looked at the door. He sighed and stood still for a while blankly looking at door then he moved and with his shaky hand he slowly opened the door and entered. Darkness welcomed him while he walked more inside. Only side lamp was on giving little bit light to the room. He slowly walked and sat on bed while she was sleeping peacefully while sitting down on the her and her back leaning on bed. He moved his hand and moved the hair away from her forehead. He was looking at her when his gaze fell on other side and Cameron was sleeping next to her while his head in her lap. Elam looked at him and jealously took place over him. That was his place where Cameron was sleeping. He thought then quickly moved away and stood up. Then he turned over to walk. He walked but in hurry hit his legs with the bed. He hissed in pain and on his pain Mrs Sania eyes flew opened and she looked at him

'Elam.' She called out to him and he stopped

'I am sorry to disturb you.' Elam said and was about to walk when she softly moved Cameron away then got up.

'Elam what happen?' Mrs Sania asked

'Nothing.' Elam said and walked out while Mrs Sania sighed. He walked back in the sitting room and hurtfully leaned back his head. He was sitting when he suddenly felt a hand on his head messaging it. His eyes flew opened and he looked up while Mrs Sania was standing there.

'What are you doing?' Elam asked softly and Mrs Sania smiled

'Nothing, I thought you have pain in your head.' Mrs Sania said

'No it's okay, I am fine.' Elam said while sitting up moving away from her hold whereas she walked and sat down next to him.

'Why you come in the room Elam?' Mrs Sania asked but he stayed quite and Mrs Sania sighed .
