Home planet: born on saints moon, but lived most of his life on the move.
Background:
Raan was born on saints moon to rassha and king kalsogaren, both of which were mercenaries who lived on saints moon at the time of his birth.
Raans parents were shot down on a ship called the Atlas during a brief dry spell in mercenary work, no one on that ship survived the crash on a burning moon called Ares.
He was then raised in an orphanage and forced to deal with the grief of never fully knowing his parents, but despite this, he was compassionate and wise to the other orphans.
This, combined with his exceptional test scores, attracted the attention of the scholars of his races hub planet.
For the next eighty years of his life he studied at the institute before he graduated and was sent to port ool'avine to study the culture of the asteroids, the rest is history.
