It's been a long time since the last time I visited Julian Town. I would love to come, but my crazy schedule wouldn't let me. The project in Asia takes most of my time. But now it's settled so I'll have some free time before the end year with all of our events.

Madeline asked me to drop her at her house and promised later she would come to Helen. So here I am alone in Helen's house. The house in Julian Town is big, not as huge as the one in LA, but still bigger than most of the house here. Julian Town is a small town. You won't miss Grandma's house here. I wonder why Madeline never realized this before. Obviously, a baker couldn't afford this small mansion.

I walk to the kitchen. We still have some of the house staff here. A maid and a gardener to help Helen maintain the house.

"From the smell, I'm sure this must be one of my favorite foods," I say, and Grandma turns around, beaming happily. "It's time for you to show up, young man!"

I chuckle and come to hug her. "Is that my favorite butternut soup?"

"Of course! When my grandson is in town, I'll make his favorite food!" She hugs me tightly. "Welcome back home, Ethan."

I hug her tight, too. I glance at the soup and give her my perfect grin. "I love you so much, Grandma."

She laughs and pokes me. "I'm immune to your grin. You should do that to Madeline so she will want to go on a date with you." I just laugh. I can't wait to see her reaction when she finds out about us.

"Where is Mads? She promised me to have lunch with me."

"She's at her house now. She said she needs to take care of some stuff. Later she will come here."

"Perfect!" My grandma beams. She really loves Madeline. I can see from her happy eyes whenever she mentions about her.

"Grandma, how come Madeline never realized about you before. Our house here isn't that small."

Grandma chuckles. "Now I feel bad—"

"Because she never invited me before," comes Madeline's voice. Both of us turn around and look at her. God, I don't know how, but I'm sure she's getting prettier every time I see her. She is wearing a yellow sundress, the hem of the dress is around her knees. She brings some jar to the kitchen.

"I bring this for you Helen." She puts the jar on the kitchen counter. "You said you like this brand for their bolognese sauce, right? I found it at the mini market near my apartment," she says happily and Helen joins her with something like, "I've been looking for this for months!"

"When did you buy it, Sweetness?" I ask her while putting my arm on her waist. She glances at me, notices that we will tell Helen about our relationship.

"This one? I bought it this morning before you picked me up. Because yesterday I was so tired." She shrugs, her face is blushing a bit. I know what she meant. Yesterday, just like any other day, we ended up tangled in bed, panting. Yesterday was extra because she was torturing me with her sexy dress at the office. She knew I was packed that day. I couldn't do anything except ogle and drool over her from time to time. So I punished her afterwards. It was a perfect punishment for my naughty girlfriend.

"Sorry, you asked for it, baby," I laugh and kiss her cheeks.

Helen studies us. "Did I miss something?" She asks, narrowing her eyes at me.

"Ah, I forgot to tell you, Grandma!" I grin. "Let me introduce you to my girlfriend, Madeline Parker."

My grandma's eyes widen, her mouth opens. For a while, she cannot utter a word. "Oh my God!" She takes Madeline's hand. "You give him a chance?" She asks curiously and Madeline laughs. "God, I'm so happy! Thank you, Mads! I'll make sure my stupid grandson will make you happy."
