Before i knew it, Christmas came rolling around

After eating our Christmas Dinner at Dads house, Bella, Renesmee, Edward, Jake, Aurora and i all sat with Dad and Sue in the family room

I watch as Dad opens his gift from all of us and i smile.

"It's a five day fishing trip" Bella says

"It's for you and Sue" I add as Dad's new girlfriend walks into the door, Sue Clearwater, Leah and Seth's Mother

"Wow, that's amazing, but i can't not tomorr-"

"I've made arrangements for you at work" Sue says as she walks in the room again with a drink

"Guess that means i'm going" Dad says and we all laugh

"Hey beautiful" I say as i crouch down next to Aurora and Jacob "Did Daddy make that for you?" I ask her

"Yes" She says and i smile

"Do you want me to put it in your room?" I ask, holding the stuffed toy of a bunny in my hand

"No, i hold it now" She says and i nod, kissing the top of her head

I watch as Jacob throws some logs onto the firepit in the middle of the woods

I smile again as one of the vampires uses his skill to light the fire with his fingers

"Now this is what i'm talking about, a little pre-battle bonfire" Jacob says

I shake my head as i stand up

"I'm going to go check on Aurora and Renesmee" I say to him and he nods as he continues to talk to some of the vampires about war stories.

I walk over to the little tent that we have set up for the kids to play in and i walk into it, sitting down, next to Bella, who is looking at the kids

"I've been thinking about your plan to have Renesmee ride on Jacobs back, away from the battle, if needed, and i think that it would be best for Aurora to be with her" I say as i sigh, looking at my baby, playing with Renesmee "They are best friends, i couldn't split them apart, and Auroras power to be able to imitate and use other vampires powers is not developed yet, she will only cause a distraction to me, i would want to keep her safe at all cost as well as battle violently" I say and Bella nods, placing her head on my shoulder as we both look at our kids

"I never thought i would see the day our kids would be playing together and we would be sitting, together, watching them, being a vampire and a wolf" Bella says, laughing and i join her

"You very nearly didn't" I say sadly
