Tyler's POV
Thursday Night
At the end of Monday Sam and I were official and it was like we had known each other for ever, we just clicked and I haven't had that in such a long time. He's so kind and gentle, the funniest person and he makes me feel like I'm home, for the first time ever I feel safe and comfortable.
Tonight I've been invited to have dinner with Sam's family, I can tell he's nervous because of his Dad so I'm going to try my hardest to impress him for Sam's sake. Daniel's dropping me off and I have to message straight away if shit hits the fan and he'll speed over and pick me up, I doubt it'll get to that point but Sam has no trust in his Dad. I get changed into a a comfy black knitted jersey and a plaid red and black skirt, a pair of black stockings then my boots.
"Taylor?" I called out
"Yeah?" She called back
"Come here" I called out again
"What Tyler" She said annoyed until she saw me
"Does this look ok?" I asked
"You look stunning" She said with the biggest grin
"Are you sure, it doesn't look like I'm trying to hard?" I ask
"No its perfect, his family is fancy his Mom is very poooosh" She replies with her pinky out
"Thanks" I smiled
"What are you going to do with your hair?" She asks
"I don't know, I only know how to tie it into a ponytail" I sigh
"I can do it" She says then adds "The perfect last touch would be your hair plaited at the top that leads into a ponytail, not too fancy but not boring, it would only take me 10 minutes"
"Ok thanks then we better get going" I say
Its only a 5 minute drive to Sams place, Daniel pulls up and Sams peeking out the window waiting for me. He walks out and meets me at the car, I say goodbye to Daniel then walk towards the house with Sam then he stops.
"What?" I ask
"I just wanted to say you look really beautiful and if tonight goes to shit, I still really like you but I will be ok if you don't want to continue our relationship" He says
"Hey no don't go into this thinking we've already failed or theres no hope for us, lets just go in and see what happens. You need to remember my parents were horrible to me and I had people in my life that stuck around for me, not them" I say
"Ok let's so this" He said with a forced smile
We walked up to the door and he took a couple seconds before we go in, we walked in and his parents met us at the door.
"Hello Tyler, it's so nice to meet you. I'm Sandra" His mum said
"And im Nicholas" His dad said
"Hello" I smiled, "You have a beautiful home"
"Thank you" She smiled "Now come in would you like something to drink?"
