Tyler's POV
Monday Lunch
I've been back at school for a week now and I haven't spoken to Sam at all, He texts and calls but I don't answer, every time I see him I walk the other way and just avoid him at all costs. I've gone back to self medicating with whatever I can buy from the stoners at school so I feel comfortable and ok. I just feel so drained from everything that I'm avoiding drama at all cost.
"So homecoming is in a week and a bit" Tom says
"My dress arrived the other day couldn't bring myself to try it on" I reply
"Aw Ty" Tate says as puts her arm around me and her head on my shoulder
"It's fine" I smiled
"Have you told Ty about your exciting news" Tom says
"What news?" I ask
"Tom" She shushed him
"Tell me" I smile
"Brock asked me to be his date" She says with her smile just brightening up the room
"I can't believe you didn't tell me I'm so excited for you" I say
"Thanks" She smiled " I didn't know if you wanted to hear about homecoming"
"Of course I wanna hear about your excitements Tate, just because my life is sucking doesn't mean you can't still talk to me" I say
"I know but I don't want to make you feel bad either" She says
"Im ok, really" I smiled
"Well my date cancelled on me" Tom says
"Hey you can go with Ty" Tate suggest, we both smile.
"Would you?" Tom asks
"Yeah! I have no one else to go with" I smiled
"Thank god" He laughed "We are each others second pick"
"Hooray!" I laughed
"Hey" Zach says as he sits with us "Whats all the excitement about?"
"Tyler is going to homecoming with me" Tom says
"Exciting" Zach smiles
"Do you know who you're going with?" I ask Zach
"Yeah I'm bringing a girl from my physics class" He says
"Nice" I smile
"Have you spoken to him?" He asks
I shake my head no
"He's been really down since you guys ended" He says
"He should've thought about that before making out with that other dog" I reply
"He thought you guys were over" Zach argues
"But we were interrupted by Dan, he never finished what he was saying and if what was about to come out of his mouth was true and really how he felt then he never felt that way for me to just go find the closet girl to mack on with" I reply
