Alexandra Fleur Cameron was many things, but paranoid was not one of them. Therefore, she couldn't understand why she keeps having this feeling that someone is watching her. She couldn't understand why she kept having this feeling that someone was following her.

She was walking to her school as she had always done since she got to high school, but she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching her. She turned to look behind her, but there was no one. The road was empty but for her, eerily quiet that it sent shivers down her spine. She couldn't remember why she had decided to go early; she thought since it was her first day at school, she ought to be early.

She breathed in and shook her head. I'm being stupid. She thought to herself. However, her worry was justified. Their small peaceful town has not been that peaceful as of late. Her father told her of the many disappearances that had been taking place recently. Remembering Viki made goosebumps rise on her skin.

They were never really friends, but Jeremy's unhealthy infatuation with her made them get closer to an extent. And while Alexandra never approved her action, she couldn't help but understand them.

She arrived at school and saw Jeremy in the hallway. He stood with Elena, his sister, Caroline, and Tyler. She had known Jeremy for the longest of time; some would argue that they had known each other since they were in nappies. However, she never came around to being friends with Elena. They just ran in different circles, had different interests, and Alexandra had always been quite peculiar in her own way.

Alexandra and Elena might not be friends, but they were friendly.

When she saw him, she jumped in his arms. "I missed you, jerk". And she really did, he had left town during the summer to visit family friends in Denver. The visit was for reasons which she didn't understand, nor did he explain. When Alexandra met Elena by coincidence at the Grill and asked about Jeremy, Elena made it sound like it was a permanent arrangement. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. He had missed her more than he had thought possible.

Although life had drifted them apart for some time, especially after Viki's death, they managed to see each other and talk about nothing and everything. She had always been a shoulder to cry on, a backbone keeping him straight, and a friend that he could have the most fun with. For some reason, the moment she hugged him a memory of them when they were only thirteen played in his mind. They were standing by the falls, both looking at each other with challenging eyes.

"Jump, I dare you" He had challenged her. He wanted to tease her, annoy her even. Alexandra had always made a point of showing that she could do anything and that being a girl could never be a hurdle on her way. Therefore, Jeremy decided to challenge her.

She raised an eyebrow then a mischievous grin came over her face, a look that he knew too well. "If you jump, I jump". She said it so easily like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

And just like that Jeremy jumped, and she followed him. The first thing she said when they swam to the surface was, "I fucking hate you, Jere". They started laughing and splashing each other with water.

They pulled away and she clicked her tongue, "I can't believe you left me in this boring town all alone"

He gave her a small smile and shook his head. He could remember exactly why he had left town; courtesy of Elena, Damon had compelled him to leave town and Jeremy decided to play along with that, pretending he had forgotten all about vampires and the sacrifice. He played the role and hoped that he could actually stay away. However, he could not. There were many things that forced him to get back. He couldn't just leave his sister, Bonnie, Alaric, nor could he leave Alexandra.
