I bounce my leg up and down anxiously as Rocky and I sit on the cold stainless-steel chairs in the waiting room.

I wouldn't say I'm exactly a wimp when it comes to pain, in-fact it's quite the contrary I've gotten my ears and nose pierced, I even have a sun tattooed on my wrist. But there was something about having my bloods taken which terrified me.

My eyes widen slightly when Rocky's large, tattooed hand rests firmly on my thigh to stop it from bouncing, large fleeting butterflies swarm around my stomach at the contact.

'You're making me more nervous.' He murmurs.

My eyebrows narrow together, 'Why are you nervous? I'm the one who is about to get poked with a needle.'

A pale pink tinge covers his cheeks, 'I don't like blood.'

My heart swells at the thought of his large boy next to me being afraid of something, 'Aw Robert, you are just the cutest.'

He scrunches up his nose, 'Don't call me cute.'

'It's non-optional sorry.'

'God you are such a pain in my ass.'

I give him a bright grin before I poke his cheek, 'And you are just so grumpy.'

He rolls his chocolate brown eyes, 'I'm not grumpy, I just don't like people...or the world.'

'I think that would constitute for you being grumpy.'

He frowns slightly, 'Shut up.'

'I can't believe next week, we're going to find out if we are having a little me or a little you, how magical is that.'

'I strongly believe it's a little you, unfortunately.'

I nod in agreement, 'I feel like we're having a little me as well.'

'Hopefully she won't be as perky.'

I roll my eyes, 'Deny it all you want Robert, but you love my perkiness.'

'I like one part about you that is perky.'

I pause for a moment as I try to figure out what he means before I notice his gaze flickering towards my chest and face.

I scoff as I shove him playfully, 'You are such a pig.'

'I know, it's disgusting.'

I laugh softly, 'Let's hope if we have a boy that he has more manners when it comes to girls.'

'I'll have you know, I'm extremely respectful.'

I shrug, 'Meh.'

Rocky turns to me with an unreadable expression, 'Did you just say meh?'

I nod slowly, 'I do believe that them where the words that came out of my mouth, yes.'

'I literally got stabbed with a beer bottle defending you, how the fuck am I not respectful?'

I burst out laughing at his reaction, 'I was only teasing, don't worry.'

'You better be sunshine.'

I tilt my head, 'Angel.'

His eyebrows knit together, 'What?'

'If you are going to call me sunshine, then I want to call you angel.'

He wrinkles his nose, 'That's not happening.'

'Fine, what about cherub?'

'Nope.'

'Darling?'

'No.'

'Honey.'

'No way in hell.'
