68: 'Bonus Chapter...'

I huff loudly as I feel my cheeks burn, I reach around desperately for Rocky's hand, he looks down at me with a wary smile.

'You okay sunshine?'

I raise an eyebrow, 'I'm about to push a human out of my vagina, does it look like I'm okay?'

He winces, 'Okay that probably wasn't the best question.'

'No it wasn't, pass me the gas and air.'

He nods quickly as he puts the nozzle in my hand, 'I forgot how angry you were in labour.'

'Well this is the last time that I'm doing this, so remember it real good.'

He laughs softly as he presses a kiss to the top of my head, 'You know we still haven't picked out a name. Do you have any ideas?'

I whimper as a pain contracts deep into my lower region, 'J-Just...just pick whatever name you want. If she's as cute as me, she'll suit any name.'

Rocky blinks rapidly, 'D-Did you just say she?'

'Oh fuck.' 

'Scarlett Aurora James, did you ring the doctor to find out the sex of our baby after we agreed that we wanted it to be a surprise this time.'

'Um...perhaps. Are you mad at me?'

He shakes his his head as he cradles my face, 'First of all, if you didn't sneakily ring up because you hate surprises then you wouldn't be the woman I married and secondly, we're having another little you, how the fuck could I be mad at that?'

'I love you.'

'I love you more.'

I shake my head as I kiss the palm of his hand, 'Impossible.'

'Do you remember any of the names we didn't use for Vi?'

I laugh loudly as I settle myself into my hospital bed further, 'Honey, I'm in that much pain I can barely remember my own name right now. I'm just glad your sober this time.'

'Hey you promised that you wouldn't bring it up! You know I felt extreme dad-guilt'

'No I said I'd try not to bring it up, no promises were made.'

'I want a divorce.'

'Well we may as well, after we're done here I don't think I ever want to have sex with you again.'

'Now you're just being mean.'

'Sue me.'

Hot tears roll down my cheeks when I hear a tiny cry echo the room, I look to Rocky with complete awe, my heart cracks when I notice tear-stained tracks on his cheeks.

'She's perfect, scar.' He whispers.

A loud sob escapes my lips as the nurses place her on my chest, part of me was worried that I wouldn't be able to love another human as much as I love Violet but the love is the exact same, it's just my heart that has grown.

'We're a family of four.' I whisper as I gently stroke the top of my daughters head.

'You did so fucking good baby.' Rocky murmurs as he presses a kiss to my forehead, 'So fucking good.'

'Hi baby.' I coo, 'You are already so loved by your mommy, daddy and big sister.'

Rocky sniffles loudly, 'God, I can't wait for Vi to meet her baby sister.'

'It's probably going to be one of the best moments in my entire life.'

'Now we can see her a little face, what name are we thinking?'

'I have no idea.' I murmur as I continue to study her features.

'Well I was doing my research back when it was a surprise so I looked for both girl and boy names, and did you know that Celeste means heavenly which would kind of go with our vibe with the whole angel thing?'

I purse my lips together, 'Nope, she doesn't look like a Celeste.'

'What about Nova? Because they shine so brightly and dramatically, which means if she's anything like her mom the name will be a perfect fit.'

I roll my eyes softly as a grin slowly etches onto my face, 'Nova James.'

'She looks like Nova to me.'

 'Nova Arlo James.'

Rocky nods as his entire facial expression crumbles, 'God, I wish that he could have met her.'

I attempt to shake away the tears that our burning in the corner of my eyes 'He's watching the three of us right now, I'm sure of it.'

'Either us or that woman he had a crush on from the nursing home.'

'Yeah there could be a chance he's watching her, not even going to lie to you.'

A watery laugh leaves his lips, 'Rocky, Scarlett, Violet and Nova.'

'Our names all sound so good together.' I manage out before another flood of tears stream down my face.

I cradle Nova close to my chest as I softly sing 'you are my sunshine' to her, I press numerous kisses to the top of her head before I hear little feet racing into my room. I snap my head up to see Violet racing inside the room holding numerous pink balloons with Rocky trailing closely behind her.

'Mommy! I have a sister!' She cries out, 'I prayed and prayed for a sister and it happened!'

My heart begins to ache in the most beautiful way possible, I nod as I swallow the sob that is threatening to leave.

'Does my sister have a name?' Violet asks as she slowly approaches the bed.

I gesture for Rocky to speak because I'm too emotional to form any words right now, I don't think I've ever experienced happiness quite life it.

'She's called Nova.'

'That's pretty! Just like her.' Violet whispers, 'Can I call her Novie?'

'Of course you can.' I manage out.

The curly haired brunette reaches out and gently strokes her baby sister's face, 'I'm going to love and look after her forever mommy. She's my new best friend.'

And that does it, my sobs are finally free from their shackles, Rocky chuckles softly as he walks towards us and wraps an arm around my shoulders.

'It's okay sunshine, just breathe.'

'I love all three of you so much.'

'I love us the most!' Violet cries out.

Rocky shakes his head, 'Impossible.'

A:N- I'm sorry this chapter was so short, I just thought it would be a sweet little bonus chapter featuring the James family.

I would be interested in doing a sequel featuring Scarlett, Rocky, Violet and Nova.

Or my other option was doing a spin off on Violet called Violet Skies, where Vi has gotten in with the wrong crowd, so she goes and stays with her Aunt Autumn and Uncle Lucas for the Summer in New York
