Nate woke up from her sleep. Julian was sitting next to her, staring at his smartphone screen again.
"What're you doing?" asked Nate, covering her eyes with her hand.
"I'm checking on assignment." Julian answered without taking his eyes off his phone.
"Can you finish it before coming here?" asked Nate annoyed.
Julian's phone vibrated, making him get out of bed, and out of the bedroom. He used to working in the sitting room, or in the study upstairs. But, somehow he's been working next to Nate these past few nights. In fact, not only did he work on his phone, but he also opened his laptop so that Nate couldn't sleep.
Nate was just about to close Julian's laptop that open next to her when her eyes caught an email on the screen.
I can't sleep either. Can we just switch to chat?
Nate frowned. The sender's name was keanne.penelopeee, it's definitely not Helena. Out of curiosity, Nate opened the email, and read the thread.

Nate was bewildered. The fact that Julian never asked if his wife had her lunch or something like that really annoyed her. How could he be so thoughtful of someone who didn't even close to him—seeing them only texting via email. Julian only paid this kind of attention to Nate when he just proposed to her, and then it's faded.
