Hp: The Outcast.

Ted and Jon pt.1

Still rustling through the mound of garbage in the room of hidden things, the diadem remains elusive to me. Suddenly a loud crash is heard and I turn to see it and it was Ted with a small trinket in his hand and a cabinet fallen in front of his feat. I rub the bridge of nose and sigh. He tagged along with me this time. I thought that the two of us would find this damn tiara faster but that doesn't seem to be the case.

"You alright man?" I turned around and continued the search. He placed the trinket and trotted towards me and asked, "Yeah, yeah, yeah... just a quick question though, what's this place?"

I was going through a mound and said, "It's a special room where people keep things that they don't want to be found."

He nodded and sucked on his teeth and I sighed and asked, "What?"

He scoffed and chuckled, "Nothing..." He went back to searching but quickly turned around and said, "It's just that this place is like super creepy and sketchy."

I turned towards him and said, "Really? wow!" I walked away and he asked, "What?"

I turned and said, "Do you think that I would do something to you and leave you here to die?" I checked a box that was in front of me and he mumbled, "I wasn't thinking that... yet."

He was looking around and asked, "What are we looking for again?"

The box didn't have anything and I moved onto different mound and said, "We are looking for a Diadem... a tiara it's like old..." I turned to look at him but he had this odd look on his face and I asked, "Why you looking at me like that?"

He shook his head and asked, "Why are we looking for this tiara?"

I walked up to what look like a closet and started to go through it and said, "It's the diadem of Rovena Ravenclaw..."

He was surprised and ran to me and asked, "What? How?"

I shrugged my shoulders and nonchalantly said, "It was in that diary..."

He nodded and chuckled, "Man, your dad is a weird guy..."

I sighed and patted his shoulders, "You don't even know half of it."

Ted then fell into thought and asked, "You're going to wear it aren't you?"

I turned around and looked at him, he had this smirk on his face and I wanted to punch him and deny it, "Yes..."

He burst into laughter, I sighed and folded my arms, "Really man... you know that that thing increases the intelligence of the wearer right?" He continued to laugh and I said, "Come on man, it's not that funny... stop laughing man!"

He stopped and patted my shoulders and said, "Hey, I support you... whatever you have to say to do it."

I swatted his hands from my shoulders and said, "Why did you come?"

Unbeknownst to Jon there was a reason why Ted was following Jon everywhere. It was because of Tori and Daphne.

(In the great hall a day ago)

Ted was just getting breakfast and trying to stay wake for the classes, he had been working late with Jon and unlike Jon he wasn't built for it. As he was quietly enjoying his morning sandwich he was suddenly ambushed by Tori and Daphne. They suddenly sat by his side and that made him uncomfortable due to a recent incident yesterday. Ted has become a bit scared of Tori... he felt sorry for his friend.

"Hey Ted Im sorry for yesterday... I got a bit intense." Tori said with an apologetic smile.

"It- *cough It's okay..." Ted said while putting his sandwich down. "I've already forgotten about it."

Tori gentle patted his shoulders and said, "Thank you." Daphne then coughed and Tori said, "Ted, I've been meaning to ask you how's work going with Jon? You two okay?"

Ted sighed and smiled, "He is fine... and work is going good a little slow but good."

Daphne then smiled and said, "That's just great..."

Ted just sighed and said, "Just ask what you want to ask..."

Tori then sucked on her tooth and asked, "Is is Jon okay?"

Ted nodded and said, "Yeah, I just told you he is okay. Why are you guys so tensed, Im making sure he is eating on time, sleeping on time, he gets in his exercise... and now I feel like he is a dog and Im the nanny."

Daphne then cuts in and said, "And we are very greatful for it, we would do it ourselves but it would just be distracting for him."

Ted just chuckled softly and "Yeah, sure."

Daphne pursed her lips and nodded and said, "It's just that we are worried that he might not be okay."

Ted was a little annoyed by the same question and said, "Why? Just why?"

Tori scrunched her eyebrows and asked, "Have you not heard his songs?"

Ted shook his head, "No, as mentioned before Im working with him." He then looked at the two and asked, "Is there something in his songs?"

Tracey then walks into the hall with the Walkman and headphones on her head and sits down and Ted asked her, "Is there something wrong with Jon's song?"

Tracey put's the headphones away and looks at the two and said, "You two really need to stop, if he wants to talk he'll talk."

Ted looks at them and asked, "What's with his songs?" Tracey sighs and takes a plate and starts putting food on it.

Tori finally broke the suspense and said, "His songs, or few of the songs are like a little bit sad, like he is singing about Demons in him and not having any loved ones it's very sad."

Tracey looked at them and said, "If you two don't stop this, it would be you two who would be listening to "Before you go" on repeat if I might add." She looks at Ted and said, "Don't talk to him about it..."

Daphne scoffed and said, "Just be around him... you know just in case."

(Back in room of hidden things)

Ted pushes the shit off the table nearby creating a dust cloud and sits on it. I looked at him and he patted the table and I sighed and went back to look and he asked, "Buddy, Im a bit worried about you... you know."

I turned around and asked, "Why?"

He jumped from the table and walked towards me and said, "I mean you are singing about some very sad stuff man... you know."

I sighed and said, "Not everything that I sing is about me bro... it's sometimes about someone else as well... is that why you are here?"

He nodded and said, "Yeah, so you're like alright? Nothing wrong."

I wanted to cry and said, "Yes, Ted I'm fine can we just... okay?"

He nodded and said, "I want to ask you something."

I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Yeah, let's just get this over with so we can look for that damn piece of junk."

Ted looked at my eyes and asked, "Are you aware that Tori and Daphne like you?"
