Nobody But Me

Your skin is warm like the summer sun,
Your kiss is electrifying like a spring shower,
Your arms around me are comforting like green grass.
The world is like swan road when you're around,
With calming winds.
Nobody but you and I in the world,
Nobody but me in your arms,
Nobody but you by my side.
Your dark hair and light eyes,
Showing the contrast in life,
Wrong and right do not matter,
What feels right does.
Wind in our hair,
Goosebumps across our skin,
Blood pumping in our heart,
That's what carries us along the smooth waves.
Rain falls and becomes morning dew,
Our ship pulled into harbor where it's safe,
Yet that's not where they belong.
We belong on the edge of the world,
Facing every obstacle like a knight and a dragon,
A dragon that's fiery like your ambition,
Like my passion.
Nobody but you understands,
Nobody but me has your understanding,
Nobody but you and I tear through to the next challenge.
