"No," Branch said, and fought back tears. "You can't go."

Poppy threw the paper on the floor. "I don't want to. But I have to. They want me tomorrow."

"No," Branch said. "Tomorrow's too early. I can't loose you again, Poppy."

Poppy shrugged, sadly. "I'm sorry. I-I need to pack."

She started to walk away, but Branch grabbed her arm back. "Wait!"

"What?" Poppy asked.

"It's just that....right when I felt like I was getting you back, you're leaving again. Why do you need to go?"

"Because. I need this, Branch. And we can always keep in touch. We can write let-"

"That's not enough. I need to physically be able to see you 24 hours, everyday."

Poppy didn't say anything.

"And....and what about our relationship? We'll be growing apart! And, what if you meet another guy? What if he's better looking than me? What if-"

"No one is better looking than you," Poppy said.

He blushed.

"Plus, you're the only guy I could ever want. I promise I won't fall for another guy."
