So with that;
"Shy" or anything not "badass";
giggles or quietly laughs
"Badass" or "tough";
Laugh
Snicker or snort
Like your female character can giggle then laugh maybe snicker later.
Your 'badass' character can actually laugh. Maybe giggle when they shy.
Your people are still well rounded no matter their personality

Personality
Your person is a sarcastic funny
Making them joke or snap something every other line makes them rude and annoying not funny
Your person has a strong belief
This can be about anything but;
They don't need to mention it every conversation. Or always be thinking about it.

Copy Cat
Don't make them an exact copy of someone in your (show/movie/book)
If you write about Teen Wolf don't make your sarcastic character like Stiles
The 100 your badass OC shouldn't be Octavia
Your smart OC shouldn't be Clarke

Emotions
Why are they happy and then a few minutes later they shout angrily then they cry
Plz get ur emotions in check
Like seriously they cuddly with the person they dating then they move away all pissed off
Or get in arguments with friends about DUMB shit
