Like we see this all the time in tv shows how someone is in love with their friend and it's one sided
When your writing and a girl and a boy are BESTFRIENDS and the love interest are for the girl. Don't make her bestfriend be in love with her.
You are ruining a perfectly good friendship.
And half the time she won't like him back and they don't talk anymore it's sad.
Or she does like him back and the OTHER boy "steals" her away. Not cute
