Okay so making a "bad" character have a good development and giving them a good story arc is okay.
But DO NOT erase all of someone's mistakes
Characters make mistakes and they are forgivable. You see it all the time in shows and whatnot
Yet you can't erase someone's mistakes or they bad things they do to make them lovable
Give them a good story arc!! Or character development you don't see in a book/movie/show.
Examples:
Theo Raken:
he doesn't trust ppl. He betrays ppl. He is not honest. He is a killer
{I love him but I'm proving a point}
He should not! Love or trust someone a week after meeting them!
He may hurt (emotionally) or betray the pack affecting your OC. But you cannot get rid of the bad things he has done because that's what makes him who he is
Peter Hayes:
An asshole. Stabbed someone in the eye. Jerk and a bully
{also a fan yikes I love miles teller}
Maybe he isn't a jerk to your OC. But he didn't just turn into some nice guy to everyone. Maybe the OC stopped him from doing terrible things but he still does some bad stuff
Okay? Okay
Justin Foley:
Still screwed over Hannah
A jerk
Your OC makes him a better person? Then okay but he still has an ass hole personality
He will make mistakes even if he dates your OC
Bryce Walker:
The only acceptable thing is if you put him in jail or kill him.
No development bye
You get my point now
People mess up. Yes.
People do bad things. Yes
Don't erase them
But don't make them hurt your OC or else it is a toxic Relationship
