Later that day Lily finished her shift. Anxious thoughts ran wild as Lily thought of what Nicky might say, maybe she wasn't wanted anymore, that would break her heart. She strolled through the busy corridors until she was stood outside. She scanned the area, hoping to see the messy blonde. Thankfully she saw her about a 100m away sitting alone on a picnic bench. As Lily got closer she realised that Nicky was talking to herself, but she couldn't work out what she was saying, Lily thought it was funny and kissed Nicky's cheek once she arrived at the table. She immediately started laughing at her adorable Nicky.
"That is so cute" she announced, a sparkle in her eye, Nicky was a little embarrassed that she had been caught talking to herself, but she laughed it off. She turned to Lily so her legs were either side of the bench. The pair joked about other inmates for a while until they were in fits of laughter, this was a common occurrence; the two laughed together constantly. Suddenly Nicky became quiet, she gave Lily an adoring smile, while seeming deep in thought,
"Lily, I"... Then she trailed off, but Lily gently lifted her chin up so they were looking at each other in the eye,
"I think I love you" There was a moment silence as Lily absorbed what she had just been told. She wasn't expecting this from Nicky so soon, but she definitely felt the same,
"Really?" she said with a beautiful smile, Nicky nodded, "I love you too". Nicky had never looked happier as she held Lily's jaw in her hands and kissed her passionately. Lily thought a little about how the two were still not official, and boldly asked, "Nicky can we be girlfriends?", Nicky was so infatuated with Lily that she didn't think twice before softly saying,
"yeah." Nicky held Lily's face again firmly and peppered kisses all over her face.
