Mitsuko POV

As we floated in the night sky I found myself bewildered. The moon seemed so close to me right now and I couldn't help but stare at it in awe.  Its pale light shined down on us leaving me fascinated.

It was nighttime and it was very peaceful. I couldn't hear anything except for a gentle breeze that blew through the air. It seemed like it would be a beautiful night.

Despite this, I couldn't help but feel like something bad was going to happen. I could hear bells, they were loud and clear in my mind, but I decided to ignore them.

I looked back at Madara and smiled. He hadn't said a thing since he picked me up. He was being so quiet and yet his eyes looked so excited. I truly wondered where we were going.

As if he had heard my thoughts he began to descend giving me a view of where he was taking me. My eyes looked down in confusion.

What was that thing?

I looked towards a giant tree in the distance and I blinked a few times

I looked towards a giant tree in the distance and I blinked a few times. I looked in the opposite direction and I immediately stiffened. There were four people standing staring at us.

What was this?

He let me down and I stood beside him in silence. I examined the people who stood in front of us. A blonde-haired guy seemed to be staring at me and I stared back at him. He wasn't the only person though, there was a girl with pink hair, a man with gray hair and a person who had a striking resemblance to Madara.

Perhaps he was an Uchiha too. I sighed and I was surprised as I watched Madara begin to fly away from me.

He floated way up into the sky as he looked directly at the moon. I watched cautiously and soon enough the moon seemed to turn a bright red.

The red light surprised me and I jumped at the sight. Branches from the strange tree I had seen began to immerge everywhere and I felt myself begin to get light-headed. Quick as a flash, I was caught and I looked up to see Madara smiling down at me.

''My true dream has finally come true," he said.

I looked up at the red moon as my eyes seemed to gawk over it. So this was his dream. I couldn't believe he actually achieved it. I nodded as I smiled upon seeing his smile. A few minutes seemed to passed when I heard a sound to my left. I looked up to see the same four people still standing there.

This seemed to annoy Madara and he looked at them with a distasteful look.

"You never give up do you?" his deep voice said layered with disgust.

I tried to comprehend the situation but quickly stopped as something else had caught my attention.

There was...something coming out of the ground. It was black.

I looked at it curiously as I watched a whole person emerge out of the ground. At that moment, my life seemed to flash before my eyes. I thought of everything that had happened to me, how long my journey was, how much I had gone through. My body seemed to step in front of the person and it didn't take long for me to feel an impact...

Madara POV

Naruto and Sasuke...they were so persistent. They never seemed to give up despite being beaten over and over. I smirked a bit. It didn't matter. This would be my final battle, after this, I would be able to live a life with Mitsuko in peace.

I began to feel excited towards the thought of fighting as I looked at them...but they didn't look excited. In fact, they weren't looking at me at all.

Their eyes were fixated on something happening behind me. It was then that I saw something underneath me. Blood. My eyes widened.

What was happening?

A pool of it seemed to form and I turned around to see what had happened. There was a silence as an image I could never unsee was painted in my mind.

Mitsuko...

Mitsuko...

Her white gown was stained with blood as it dripped down endlessly. Her eyes looked shocked and I was too, as I looked at Black Zetsu who had put his arm right through her chest.

She stood there staring at me as her lips quivered.

"Madara..." she said.

My heart seemed to skip a beat.

This couldn't be happening.

There was no way.

I had to be imagining this.

Her gray eyes looked at me as her mouth curved into a small smile. She began to fall forward and just before she hit the ground I heard her say something.

"Goodbye, " she said.
