28. TRUTH

While practicing, Brett's attention caught the laptop. He kept his violin in its case and immediately went to the laptop.
"Eddy! Come here!" Brett said.
Eddy came after 2 minutes,
"What happened? Another code?"
As soon as Eddy finished the sentence, they could see text messages on the blank screen.

"I see, you're finding it hard. Why not let me make it even more harder? Oh! Give me my code back and I'll return your merch back."

The screen flashed for the third time, but it surprised Brett and Eddy.
Instead of having 11 codes or 12 codes, this time it only had 2 codes.
"Wait...Are you serious?" Eddy asked.
"This doesn't make any sense." Brett said.

They immediately called Bella, Vaishnavi and Sid.
"What happened? You got another code?" Bella asked.
"Yeah......" Eddy said.
"But it doesn't make any sense." Brett stated.
"How come?" Vaishnavi questioned.
"We got just 2 codes. Just 2."
"Now, that's weird." Sid said.
"Nevermind, let's decode this." Bella said.
"01010010" Eddy said.
"That's the letter 'R'." Sid said.
"Ok." Brett said.
"01010101." Eddy said.
"Ooo! I know that. It's the letter 'U'!" Vaishnavi said.
"Correct." Sid said.

This time, Brett entered the password. He too was nervous.
For the first time, they got two green ticks marks.
"It worked!!" Eddy said.
"Are you serious?!" Bella asked.
"Yes!" Brett exclaimed also.
"Yay!" Vaishnavi said.
"That's a relief!" Sid said.

Everyone rejoiced,
"So what does the name spell from the start?" Sid asked.
"If we could keep it like a name, we have M-E-N-K-O-V excluding the 'S' and now we have R-U."
"Ok..We forgot tell you all something." Vaishnavi said.
"Hmm?" Bella asked.
"Remember when I said that I, Sid and Vacy are in a trio competition?"
"Yeah."
"And that competition is today." Sid said.
"Oh...." Brett said.
"And it's in the evening." Vaishnavi said.
"We have atleast 5 hours." Eddy said.
"Eddy, did another code came?" Sid asked.
"No, why?"
"I was sneaking into Vacy's room in the morning. And that's why I was late at the cafeteria." Sid said looking at Vaishnavi.
"Ok....." Brett said.
"And I found 5 coding list. But couldn't see what were the numbers."
"Oh! So where are we?"
"We're.....at the 3rd coding." Eddy stated as he checked the list.
"Great. But if we get the next two codings wrong....then a virus would be activated that would destroy every sheet music available and Vacy would receive all the money from the Young Symphony." Sid said.
"What?!" Eddy exclaimed
"This is not possible!" Brett stated.
"That's the truth."
