Chapter 8
Taylor's POV
"Yeah", Austin said.
"Austin set the table", Michele said.
"Do you want me to help you", I asked him.
"Yeah sure", he said grabbing the plates and silverware. "But them on the table."
"Austin I know how setting the table works", I laughed taking the plates as he took the silverware.
"I remember when you 2 where just babies in cribs", Granddad said. "And now your 16 and helping each other."
"Yeah, I'm happy she's here", Austin said putting his arm around my shoulders.
"Thanks Austin, I'm glad here too", I said smiling up at him because he's much taller than me.
"Cheese", aunt Lisa said taking a picture. It made me smile even more.
"Okay let's eat", Michele said setting down the food.
"Sit next to me", Austin said sitting down.
*after eating*
We cleaned up and Granddad and Aunt Lisa were gonna hang for a little bit then go home. Then I went up stairs and sat on my bed. Then I remembered Alex gave me something. I went to my jacket that I was wearing and grabbed the paper that he gave me.
It said,"hey um yeah there's my number if you ever need someone to talk to other than Austin. ❤️" I smiled looking at the paper I got out my phone and put his number in. His contact was, "Alex✌️", in my phone.
Then I texted him.
*text convo*
(AC: Alex)
(T: Taylor)
T: well I finally read that note😂
AC: took you long enough
T: what are you doing
AC: I'm texting this girl
T: do you like her Alex😏
AC: yeah but she doesn't know it
T: what's her name.
AC: I can't tell you, you'll tell her at school next week
T: I don't wanna go to school
AC: at school you can just hang out with Robert, Zach, and I
T: I probably will or a lot of people will crowd me because I'm Austin's sister.. Great
AC: 😂. I'll save you. Oh and you can hang out with Bree and Ashton my sister
T: okay. I'm looking forward to that.
AC: same warning you, she will beat you if you say anything bad about anyone she likes
T: thanks😂. Anything else I need to know
AC: BIG TIME CRUSH ON AUSTIN
T: really?!?
AC: yeah, she's had a crush on him for like forever
T: fun, tell her good luck with that. He's a stubborn boy😂
AC: I know
T: well I better go to bed. I'll text you tomorrow and maybe we can hangout
AC: okay night, sleep good. And I would love to.
Alex's POV
I just laid there on my bed and thought about Taylor. Well I did until Ashton walked in.
"What are you so happy about", she asked sitting down on my bed.
"Nothing, what did you need", I asked sitting up.
"Oh my mom needed you but I helped her so you don't need to thank me", she said.
"Thanks", I said as she got up and walked out.
Can't wait until tomorrow.
