NOTE: There was a mistake in the initial chapters. I mentioned Qaina and Nikhat as Special Persons, because Qaina is blind and Nikhat is colour blind. However, the previous day I confirmed it from my Physical Education teacher that only mentally disabled person can be called Special person, while Qaina and Nikhat are physically disabled. So I wanted to clear this misunderstanding that Qaina and Nikhat are not special persons.

Now you may scroll ahead!

Facts about Tamas:

• Tamas is a Sanskrit word which means Darkness.

• But I used to think it's an Urdu word. Later when I searched it on Google then I got to know about its origin.

• I heard this word in Kalank song by Arijit Singh.

Mai gehra tamas, tu hai mera sawera. Mai tera!

• I had a very dramatic scene for Nikhat's rukhsati. In which Nawaz will put a red veil on her head and hold Qur'an above her head, do a very dramatic Rukhsati. Nawaz will be red in rage and Nikhat will be crying.
But my class friend said it will be too much and I should keep things simple.

• The very same friend for the first time showed interest in any of my story (she isn't a literature person) and she also suggested ideas to add in it. Her favourite character is Qaina.

• Qaina was supposed to get kidnapped and then Atif was supposed to save her. That's how their bond was supposed to grow. But it was irrelevant to the plotline so I removed this part.

• When Atif and Qaina conversed near the staircases, Atif was not supposed to melt down. Qaina was going to intentionally fall from the stairs, that would have changed Atif's heart.
But while writing that scene, I could literally feel Atif's emotions. My eyes were moistened and I wrote what Atif would have done in reality.

• I highly doubt if it's a Mafia Romance. It's different from usual Mafia stories, so I think it's uniqueness is something that attracted most of you.

• I noticed that few silent readers have also voted on this story. Thanks for the generosity.

• I wrote intimate scenes with least exposure possible, I found my style! It's exactly the kind of intimate scenes I would like to write in the future as well.

I am done blabbering. I hope it didn't bore you.

Next story: Of course, a one shot on Asad and Arwa.

Will be back soon!
