Yet school I went outside to walk to Ace's car but it wasn't there.Asher and Matt had left too because I didn't see the second car we take.
I called ace Matt and Asher but none of them answered.
Vincent was probably busy and I wasn't calling Roman.
So I guess I'll walk. 40 minutes home. In the cold. In a skirt. Alone.
Yay me.
"Need a ride sweetheart?" I husky voice said.
I turned around and saw River. No matter how much I see him it doesn't seem to change how attractive he is.
I noticed River smirking because I was staring for too long.
"I- uh no," I said as I turned around and started walking in the direction of home.
A hand grabbed gently my wrist and twisted my body around. "It looks like you need a ride. There are no houses close by unless it's by 10 minutes in a car." River said.
He was right. Even if I did live closer it would take ages by walking.
"Fine, one ride since I'm already in debt with you," I said. He lead the way to what I thought would be a car. But it was a motorcycle.
A motorcycle! A death trap!
"Uh uh, I'm not getting on that thing. What are you trying to do, kill me?" I exclaimed.
"Someone's scared," he said with a knowing smirk.
He smirks a lot if you haven't noticed already.
"No, I'm not I just don't want to die this way," I explained.
He rose his eyebrow while putting a helmet on his head. "And how would you want to die sweetheart?" He questioned.
"I don't know, probably a car crash or poison. Something painless and quick you know?" I said while tapping my chin.
"No, no I don't know." He chuckled. I looked at him and saw he was now sitting on the death trap ready to take off.
"Hop on sweetheart." He told me. I grabbed the helmet and put it on while taking slow deep breaths.
I got on behind River almost falling thankfully his back was turned so he didn't see. Once I was ready I continuously wiped my sweaty palms on my skirt.
Omg. I'm wearing a skirt! It's probably rising! I'll just tie my jacket around my waist. The school has a jacket with the school logo on it.
Thankfully it was chilly this morning so I wore it today. Once I hopped off and then back on in record time I was ready for take off.
