my phone rang and ofc, it was gavi
"hey i'm outside whenever you're ready" he told me
"ok i'll be right down"
i went downstairs and got my water bottle
"bye mase, pablo is here"
"bye chels, i'll see you later"
i gave him a thumbs up and went outside to pablo's car
"long time no see" he said
"yea haven't seen you in ages" we both laughed

a few minutes later, i heard the doorbell ring
"it's open come in" i yelled
"hey mason"
"hey pedri"
"so wait you said chelsey went with gavi?"
"yeah why"
"he told me he was going to train"
"yea she went with him?"
"mason...."
"what?"
"he has NEVER let a girl come train with him, he's too scared she'd be a distraction"
"so she's the first?"
"yea, can i tell you something? but you promise you cant tell"
"go for it" i was wondering what he was possibly going to say
"gavi is scared of love"
"what?"
"well, not scared, but hes always on about how girls are a waste of time and a distraction"
"has he ever even had a girlfriend?"
"yea like a few here and there, but he says how they never understood he will put football first no matter what"
