Gavi's POV

it was that night and i just explained to pedri how we are taking it slow

"so when do you think you'll be ready for a relationship?" he asked

"whenever she is, i don't want her waiting for me,  i'll wait for her"

"awww"

"and don't tell that to mase, i want chels to come when she really means it"

"okay i wont" he said and then walked out my room, "good night gavi, sleep good we have el classico tomorrow" he told me

"i'll try, goodnight"

Chelsey's POV

i was about to go to sleep as mase knocked on my door, "chels r u up?"

"yeah come in" i called out

"i have a question"

"yes?"

"when do you think you'll be ready for the relationship?"

"if i'm being honest, i wouldn't say i'm ready, but if he was, i would take him. i don't want him waiting for me, i'll wait for him"

"awww"

"and don't tell that to pedri, i want gavi to come when he really means it"

"ok ok, goodnight chels"

it was the next morning, the day of my interview, i'm so scared

i have to be at the field by 12:00 pm and it's 9:00 am right now, so i have time

i went downstairs and made made avacado toast, "ooo fancy" i said, walking to the kitchen island

"i try" he said and we both laughed

"you ready?" he asked

"for what?"

"the interview"

"ohh that yeah right, yeah i am"

"you worked really hard to get to this point, don't let a little nervousness ruin it"

"you're right, thanks mase" i said as i began eating

it was now 10:00 am so i decided to start getting ready since the field was a bit of a drive

i already brushed my teeth and did my skincare, so i am going to curl my hair

i am done curling it and i went back to my vanity to do my makeup

i did my daily makeup and put a little bit of black eyeliner on my waterline, too

i struggled to pick an outfit so i asked ben

ofc i had to listen to lyss and i got ready to go now so that i had time to stop by starbucks

"bye mase, i'm leaving now so that i could stop by starbucks" i yelled out

"ok bye chels be safe" he hugged me, "and good luck, you'll do great stink"

he gave me a death stare and i laughed and went outside

i arrived to starbucks and since i still had 30 minutes and the field was 15 mins away, i went inside instead of through the drive thru

"hey lysssss" i said walking in

"hey girll, wyd today?"

"i didn't tell you?"

"no you forget about me sometimes"

"my fault, i'm going to interview viniscius jr. today"

"the one on real madrid?"

"yess"

"who are they playing"

"BARCELONA"

"GAVI'S TEAM?"

"YES."

we talked about it for a little bit until i had to go, so i got my drink and say my goodbyes

i got to the field and didn't know where to go in

i went to the main entrance and showed my pass that my instructor gave me and they scanned it and gave me directions, "go that way and stay to the left"

"okay thank you sir"

he nodded and i went the way he told me

the stadium was not that crowded but it wasn't empty either

i got to the door he told me i'll find and i scanned my pass and the door unlocked, i walked in and it looked like a suite to watch the game but not on the third floor, it was almost right on the field

i saw a lady there so i went up to her, "hey, i'm here to interview viniscius jr., do you know where i go?"

"the boss should be here soon, i'm also new"

"ohh, i'm chelsey, nice to meet you"

"i'm gianna, or you can call me gia, nice to meet you too"

"yeah u could call me chels too"

i gave her a side hug than i went out the other door, which led to the pitch

i went out and saw both teams just walking around the field, not suited up yet
