Imagine for Jimins_got_no_jams

You walk with your friends into town. You've been planning this night out for weeks and you're really excited. It took several weeks of begging to get your parents let you out this late.

"It's just around this corner!"

"C'mon, let's go!"

Your friends chose a small restaurant with a stage so you could listen to free music. They all call out, as excited as you are.

"There it is." You say and they all squeal.

As you are about to go in, you notice that your shoe lace is undone.

"I'll be there in a minute guys. Save me a seat." You say and they all nod and go in.

You walk around the corner into an alley way, to press your foot up against the wall and tie it. Except when you did you ran right into something. Right into the chest of a boy.

"Ah!"

"Oof!"

"I'm sorry! I-" You stop short when you see him. He has to be the most good looking boy you have ever seen. You stare at him for longer than socially acceptable but he doesn't seem to notice. He laughs and gives you a kind smile.

"It's okay. What are you doing here?" He asked in a gentle voice.

"Uh... Tying my shoelace... What about you?" You ask, to try and cover up your awkwardness.

"I'm performing here later. You should watch if you can." He says, which explains the suit he wears. You can't help but notice how amazing it looks on him.

"I'll try." You say. He smiles again and walks into the alley way and into the back door of the building, presumably to get ready for his show. You watch him go, still mesmerized.

"Hey, Y/N! You coming in or what?"

You jump when you hear your friend behind you. You decide to keep the mystery gentleman to yourself.

"Um, yeah." You say and quickly tie your lace. You walk with her inside and sit at a round table with your friends.

"What took you so long Y/N?"

"Nothing..."

This seems to satisfy them and you talked and laughed like normal. When the performances start you look out for your gentleman. He finally comes on and you can see the prettiest and most popular of your group practically have a heart attack.

"Oh my gosh, that has to be the hottest guy I have ever seen!"

You suddenly feel jealous but you're not sure why. You didn't even know this guys name.

He sits in the middle of the stage with a guitar. He taps the mic.

"Um, is this thing on? Hey, I'm Joshua and I hope you enjoy my performance tonight." He says. So you finally know the name of your gentleman.

All your friends sigh at the sound of his voice. You look at him and you see that he is already looking directly at you. He gives you a small smile and you smile back, your face turning crimson.

He starts to sing and gently strum the guitar. His voice his soft and gentle and he smiles as he sings, but as he makes eye contact with you his smile grows larger.

When he finishes your pretty friend jumps off to meet him as he walks off stage. She flirts with him but he doesn't seem to understand that as he asks her something. She points at you and they both look over at you. He then walks away and your friend comes back to the table.

"Well, well, Y/N, you've been keeping something from us." She says, raising her eyebrows.

You decide to just cut to it.

"What did he want?"

"He wanted to know your name... Said you had already met. Lucky..." You didn't quite hear what else she said but you didn't care.

You all stay for a bit longer but then decide to leave early, as you were all tired. As you walked out all your friends walked home while you decided to get a lift. You were about to call your Mum when you feel a tap on your shoulder.

"Hey, there." You turn to see Joshua, smiling down at you.

"Hey. You were amazing up there."

"Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed."

"What are you doing out here? Your performance ended ages ago."

"I was waiting for you. Can I walk you home?"

You nod and you both start to walk. The silence starts to get awkward so you decide to say something.

"I'm sorry about my friend, by the way. She can, uh, be pretty... Flirtatious."

"Huh? She was flirting? I didn't really notice. I wanted to know a little more about you. She didn't say some very nice things."

"That... Ugh why does she have to do this with every amazing guy I meet?!" You said this without thinking and immediately regretted it.

"Amazing?" He said, looking almost smug.

"Well, yeah."

"You shouldn't worry about her. I don't like girls like her. I know what they're like, they're all the same. But you... You're different. You're a mystery to me."

"How come?"

"I think I'll keep that to myself." He smiles mischievously at you and you roll your eyes at him.

You both arrive at your house. You feel disappointed that your walk with him as over as you were pretty sure you would never see him again.

"This is my house. I guess this is goodbye." You say. He stand close you and you feel your heart beats increase rapidly.

"Not so fast." He says, quietly. "I want to see you again, Y/N. Can I?" He asks and looks right into your eyes.

"Yes. I mean I would like that too."

His face breaks into a grin and he scribbles something on a piece of paper from his pocket.

"Call me." He whispers. He leans in and kisses your cheek while pressing the paper into your hand. He pulls back and walks away, his hands in his pockets. You watch him go, again, this time even more dazed than before. When you can't see him anymore you look at the note on your hand.
