"Valentina! hey babe."
"who babe? me babe?"
"yes." and you wrapped your arm around my shoulder as we left our work building. it made me freeze because you were acting like we had been friends forever.
"how was your day?" you asked, looking down at me.
I tried not to lean into you because you smelled so good, you were so warm and tall and wow- "it was fine. I really enjoy taking pictures, I get to do what I love."
"you get to take pictures of my handsome face. how lucky can you get?" you smirked.
"I'm so lucky." I muttered and when I rolled my eyes, you laughed.
your laugh. it was completely out of this world. raucous, contagious and your eyes closed.
I couldn't help but smile. "holy shit! I made you smile."
I removed your arm, walking in front of you as we crossed the road together. "do you want an award?" I responded amusingly.
"yes."
"too bad."
"the award is you right?"
"you wish!" I shouted back.
we were about to part ways. "I want my award tomorrow."
