chapter 10 - c u t e

That night, chan nuzzles his face deep into my neck.

"Thank you for wanting me."

I run my fingers through his hair and he sighs.

"Can you..." He trails off.

"Hm?"

"Can you please pet my ears?" He asks, "you haven't touched them since..."

"Yeah. I will." I say quickly to avoid awkwardness.

I scratch along his ears, him whimpering and sighing.

He stretches and twists before settling with our foreheads touching.

"I love you." He sighs.

"I- I love you too." I mumble, shyly pulling my hands away.

He chuckles and slips his hands down my back, resting on my hips

"Your choker is so pretty on you, baby boy." He mumbles, leaning down to kiss my neck.

"Ch-chan!" I gasp, pushing him away.

He freezes, looking scared

"A-agust, I'm so sorry, I should ask before- I'm such a bad-" he stands up, bolting out of the door

I follow him after a few seconds.

He's sitting on the couch, face buried in his hands.

"Channie hyung?" I whimper out.

He looks up, his eyes soft.

"Go back to bed, baby. I'm sleeping out here."

I nod once, going back to bed.

It's well past midnight and I can't sleep.

I carefully get out of bed and shuffle out to the couch, where Chan is asleep, looking uneasy.

Luckily for me, he's sleeping on his back with his arms wide open.

I lay down on his chest gently.

He doesn't stir, so I pull the throw blanket down over us and promptly drift off to sleep.

Chan wakes up to his boy across his chest, not a bad way to wake up, tbh.

He strokes his baby's hair, watching him slowly wake up.

"Channie..." Agust mumbles, pressing a kiss to the hybrid's jawline.

Chan tenses, but agust doesn't react,

"Sorry for freaking out yesterday."

Channie hugs him and sighs,

"Don't be sorry. It's my fault."

"I liked it, I just want expecting it..." He mumbles, dosing back to sleep.

"No, you gotta wake up. Don't we have work?"

He curses softly and nods.

Chan sits up, him still resting on my chest.

"Let's go." He mumbles, carrying agust to his room.

"I brought hyunjin in with me today." Woojin says, gazing at the pup with adoration.

"I can see that." I roll my eyes, "are you going to adopt him?"

"Wha- me? I would- no!" He splutters, going into the kitchen.

I laugh and follow him.

Chan brushes his fingers against my waist as I walk past, making me blush.

"Just get married already." Woojin rolls his eyes.

"We're basically married." Chan grumbles, pulling his hand away.

Woojin laughs,

"I guess that's true."

"What?" I ask, puzzled.

Chan walk up to me, closer than I expected. He lifts his hand slowly, tucking a finger under the choker I was wearing with his name on it and tugging it gently.

"This." He mumbles.

"Oh..." I sigh breathily.

"Get a room." Woojin complains

"Sh-shut up! We're not dating!" I swat at him.

"We might as well be, darling." Chan chuckles, "I'm not sure if you remember, but we share a bed and lots of kisses. Not to mention the pet names."

"Should I not, then?" I ask defiantly.

He drops his arrogance and pouts.

"I didn't say that..."

I laugh and kiss his nose before going back to work.
