22. Decorating The Nursery

Namjoon and I are so excited today as we are starting to decorate and organise our baby boys nursery and we cannot wait. We are so excited too. It's so special and exciting decorating and getting ready for your baby. Especially when it's your first one. We have some paint and we are ready to paint the walls in the the spare room which is going to be the nursery. We also have star wallpaper to plaster on too. We've been getting nursery ideas online. Anyway Namjoon and I get into some old clothes and go into the nursery and starts decorating. Three walls are going be white and one we are going to wallpaper. "Be careful, babe. I don't want you falling" Namjoon said. "I'll be fine, babe" I reply. "Okay but let me do the high bits" he said. We carry on painting and Namjoon does the high bits. When we had painted the walls that needed painting we do the wallpaper. Namjoon plasters it to the wall with a bit of my help. We wait for the paint to dry for a while before putting in the crib we assembled the other day. "Do you think the crib next to the stars?" Namjoon said. "Yes of course" I reply. He positions the crib where we want it before we bring the chair in. We place the chair next to the crib and a cushion on it and a footstool by it. We then put in a changing table and a few more things too. It was about complete. "I think we've done an amazing job, babe" Namjoon says. "We have. It definitely looks amazing" I reply. He smiles and then hugs and kisses me. Me and Namjoon had so much fun decorating our baby boys nursery today

Hoseok 💜

Today Hoseok and I are finally going to make a start with our baby girls nursery. We have everything to make a start today and we can't wait. It's the weekend and we both wanted to do it together. Hoseok wouldn't want to miss a moment like this, decorating his daughters nursery. We don't have to decorate as that's already done. We are just leaving them the original colour beige. First of all we start assembling the crib between us which probably takes the longest to do. We look at the instructions to see how to do it. The crib is from IKEA so the instructions are only pictures but we are figuring it out. I hand Hoseok the tools and nails he needs. "It's kinda pretty easy" he said. "Yeah I guess so. It's a pity they don't already come assembled" I reply. "Yeah I know but it's more exciting making it up" I reply. So when we've finished making the crib, we put it into position by the wall in the room. "Looks good there" I say. "It does" he replies. We then bring in a nice pink chair from another room in the house that I'll use as a nursing chair. I put a nice cushion on the chair with a table and lamp by the side. We have some pink and white roses to hang on the wall by the crib so Hoseok does that. I was putting a few other things around the room while he was doing that. It took us around 3 hours to complete the nursery which isn't too bad. "It looks so beautiful, Y/ N" Hoseok said. "It does. It's so pretty and amazing. Pretty amazing" I reply. He smiles and kisses me. Our baby girls nursery looks amazing
