I boarded the private jet that Aro sent me, remembering the last time I was on this plane. The flight attendants helped me with my luggage and other things. I sat down on the couch and looked out the tiny window. As the plane ascended, I leaned back and closer my eyes for a while.

"Excuse me ma'am."

I opened my eyes to see a nervous flight attendant looking at me.
"Yes?"

"Would you like anything to drink?"

I sighed.

"I'll take a coke."

"Of course."

She scurried off and returned a moment later with a coke can.

"Thank you." I mumbled.

She nodded and walked off. I slowly drank my coke and waited for the long plane ride to pass.

Alec ran to the throne room and flung open the double doors.

"Alec, my boy! What do you think you are doing?!" Asked Aro.

"I'm sorry for interrupting but I have news master."

Aro's face immediately showed interest.

"And what news might that be?" Asked Aro, walking down the pedestal.

Alec offered him his hand, which Aro grabbed eagerly. He blanked out for a couple of seconds before smiling widely.

"How wonderful!" He exclaimed.

"What is wonderful brother?" Asked Caius.

"Our dear Secret is returning to us early!" He announced.

Gasps arouse throughout the room.

"She is?" Asked Marcus, genuinely interested.

"Yes brother. She is." Confirmed Aro.

"How do we know that she did not lie to Alec just so that he won't go look for her?" Asked Caius, suspicious.

"Because I'm right here."

Everyone turned towards the voice. Alec's eyes widened as everyone gasped once again.

"Secret...." He whispered.

She smiled.

"Welcome home my dear." Smiled Aro, giving her a quick hug.

"What made you come back early? Not that I didn't want you to but why?" Asked Demetri.

"Ah Demetri....always the inquisitive one." Sighed Secret.

"Well?" He pushed on.

"This is the last time I'll be able to see you guys again....ever. I wanted to make it last." I whispered.

"You mean you're leaving us? Forever?!" Asked Felix.

"Something like that." I mumbled.

"Why?!" Growled Jane.

I looked at her sadly.

"It's not a matter of my choice."

"Then what is?! How long are you going to stay with us?!" Screamed Jane.

"That is not in my control either. As of right now, nothing is."

"Then who is in control?!"

"Time."
