The person on me was suddenly flung off. I looked to see Alec in front of the masked woman. I just noticed that she was wearing a light blue dress that went down to the floor, spread out around her like a flowing waterfall. She had the grace of a fairy, almost too graceful to be true.

"Who are you?! How dare you attack the Volturi?" asked Alec, unleashing his mist.

The girl easily blocked it with a wall of water. So she could control the elements like Benjamin. Just great. Another element bender. Wonderful.

"Little boy, your mist won't work against me." she smirked.

I growled. How dare she mock Alec?! Wait. Why am I defending him after all he did to me? I mean, i know that I forgave him for what he did but still! Come on Secret. Pull it together.

"Treat your elders with respect little girl." spat Alec.

"Elders? I believe that I am older than you Alecxander Volturi." she mused.

Alec stiffened when she said his full name. Very few people knew of it.

"You still didn't answer my question. What is your name?!" growled Alec, getting very impatient with her.

"Little boy....I don't have to tell you anything." she smirked, enjoying this as if it was a game of some sort.

This only infuriated him even more.

"Stop calling me that! I am not a little boy!" he growled.

"But you are. Compared to me at least." she chuckled at her own joke.

I growled and let out my shadows. This seemed to spark the lady's interest.

"Hm....control over darkness? Now that sounds like a challenge with a worth opponent." she smirked.

I laughed.

"Might I add that in my years of existence, no one has beat my gift before?" I said, trying to intimidate her a little.

She laughed emotionessly.

"And might I add that in my years of existence, no one has beat my gift as well?" she smirked.

I smirked back.

"Then we shall see who the final champion is, no?" I mused.

"Yes. Yes we shall." she said.

Let the battle begin.

The two girls unleashed their gift, on low, at first, as if saving the best for last. They smiled at each other and exchanged a few playful remarks as if playing a game. The strange girl surrounded them in fire and lifted the circle with her earth bending. It ended up like a pedestal. Secret created a dome of darkness over them, sealing all eyes out of the battle.

"Impressive. But why shut off the other vampires from this once in a century battle? Are you afraid of losing in a humiliating way?" smirked the lady.

I growled and the shadows around me danced even more violently.

"I am not afraid of losing. I am afraid of only the safety of my beloved family." I hissed.

"Family? I thought that they abandoned you long ago." she mused.

"The Volturi will always be my real family." I hissed.

"Adoptive family." she smirked, correcting me.

That little smirk did it. My shadow children arose from the ground, black snakes surrounding them and black poison ivy surrounding us, bordering the dome. The lady didn't seem fazed at all. Instead, her eyes turned blue and a dome of water appeared around her, blocking all of my shadows' attacks. I growled. But what if....I could shatter her dome. I let out a shrill note, the cry of the dead. Every vampire covered their ears, their skin cracking from the volume. I raised an octave with ease and saw that her dome was weakening. Good. With one last note, her shield completely broke. She hissed in annoyance and created a ring of fire around me.

"Let's see if you can shatter this little girl." she hissed.

"No. But you forgot something. Fire is under my control love. Fire is the element of darkness."

My eyes turned a blazing orange and I sucked in the ring of fire, leaving her exposed. My children tried to attack again but she flung them back with the roots of Mother Nature. I sent the fire that I collected and burned them to ashes. Finally, she turned to air, flinging me back against my own dome. I groaned, thanking Satan that the poison ivy did not affect me. If it did, my skin would be penetrated with thorns. But the ivy helped me by creating a cushion so that my hit would not hurt as much. I silently thanked it.

"Let's see if you can stand up to the element of air." she smirked, creating a thunderstorm inside dome.

I laughed darkly.

"Don't forget darling. Thunderstorms are my area of expertise."

I made lightening and poisonous rain. Once it touched the skin of the vampire, it burned like acid. She screamed in agony.

"Just remember darling. Do not challenge the power of evil."

With that, I took in all my power, only to find that she was gone.

"Fuck. She got away." I hissed under my breath.
