year: 2033 jackson: 8 years old leo and iris: 5 years old

"you ready to go see uncle finny and aunt claudia?" jj asked the kids.
we're going to the park today to see finneas, claudia, matt, daisy, ivy, and makayla.
we would've invited aiden and joslyn too, but they got married a few years ago and moved across the country.
then ryan... she relapsed and ghosted everybody. it affected jj the most; she tried her hardest to help ryan not relapse, so for ryan to relapse and then ghost her, really hurt jessie.
"is aurora gonna be there?" jackson asked excitedly.
just a few months after jessie had gotten pregnant with jackson, claudia had gotten pregnant with aurora. the two are practically inseparable.
"well, of course," jess answered. "so are willow, elijah, and celeste."
matt and daisy also had twins, a year before leo and iris were born. they named them willow and elijah.
ivy and makayla had a kid just a few months after leo and iris were born, and they named her celeste.
"yayyy!" the twins cheered loudly.
i laughed as they did. leo ran over to jj, grabbing her hand. "¡darse prisa! c'mon, momma!" (translation: hurry up!)
she bent down, swooping him up. "i'm going, calm down, lil' man."
she brought him out to the car, glancing back to see that me, iris, and jackson were following close behind. she sat him in his booster seat, buckling him up, while i put iris in her booster seat, and buckled her up as well. jackson got into the back seat and buckled himself up.

"hey, claudia, hey, fin." i grinned, bringing them into a hug.
"hey, bil, hey, jj." they greeted.
i heard a loud thud and then a fit of giggles. i quickly looked around, seeing that jackson and willow had knocked each other to the ground in a hug. they didn't seem hurt, seeing as they were still giggling loudly. i let out a soft laugh as i looked back to fin and claudia.
"i'm so glad they get along well." claudia smiled.
"me too. honestly, i'm so happy they aren't fuckin' assholes," jj sighed. "if any of them turn out to be assholes when they're teenagers though, i think i might just cry."
