"bro, just stay with me, alright?" aiden told me.
"not you treating me like a child," i shoved her shoulder. "i've been to plenty of parties. trust me, i've got myself."
"yeah?" she raised a brow.
"yeah. literally all i did in my freshman to junior year is party, dude."
"alright." she shrugged as we walked into the house.
there were led lights, which were constantly changing colors. it smelled like alcohol and weed. there was a lot of people, all appearing to be in their early twenties. it seemed just like a high school party.
what a surprise.
i followed aiden as she made her way over to a couch, where there were five or six people. i noticed joslyn, who waved at me. i sent her a wave back.
"that's quadarius, joji, ace, and juno." aiden introduced them, pointing to each of them as she said their names.
quadarius had light skin, and short hair. his had a beard, which was nicely trimmed. he also had stunning blue eyes.
joji was pale, with jet black hair. it didn't appear to be styled, so it just laid across his head. he also had light blue eyes.
ace and juno were identical twins. ace had brown hair that stopped a little above her shoulders. the two front strands were dyed blonde. juno's hair seemed to be longer, though i couldn't really tell because she had it pulled into a messy bun. they both had light brown eyes. ace's left eyebrow had a slit in it, while juno's right eyebrow had a slit in it.
"you look like lil huddy." i told joji.
"i get that a lot." he pressed his lips into a thin line.
"sucks to be you."
"yes indeed."
i stuffed my hands into my pockets, looking at them. "i'm jj."
they all waved, while joslyn stood up, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "yeah, this is my best friend." she spoke, and i could easily tell that she's had a lot to drink.
"you've had one conversation with her. y'all are far from being best friends." aiden said, thumping her in the forehead.
she whined, pushing her hand away. "we'll get there."
i just laughed as aiden pulled her down onto the couch and into her lap. i took a seat as well.
