"you seem happier than usual." sophia observed as i sat next to her in class.
"i am."
"why might that be?"
"because billie is coming back tonight," i grinned, practically bouncing in my seat. "i feel like i haven't seen her in years, bro. i'm excited as hell."
"aw, i'm happy for you." she smiled, shoving my shoulder a bit.
usually i would've pushed her back, leading to us just pushing each other until the professor got onto us, but i was in such a good mood that i didn't care.
i pulled out my laptop, getting ready to take notes as the professor began her lecture.

"dude, where the fuck are you going at four in the damn morning?" aiden asked sleepily, pulling her pillow over her head.
"to get my girl from the airport," i grinned as i finished tying my shoe. "sorry for waking you up."
"it's cool," she mumbled. "just try to be quieter next time."
"will do. also, just a heads up, i might not be coming back until later today." i informed her. she gave me a thumbs up and i waved at her before stepping out of the dorm, locking the door.
i practically skipped down the hallway. it may be four in the morning, but i'm full of energy, even after not sleeping since i woke up at seven this morning. after three and half long weeks, i finally get to see billie again.
i'm excited as hell.
i quickly got to the airport. within no time at all, i got a "just landed" text from bil. i texted back "i'm a baggage claim, hurry up, loser."
