Her eyes widened to find her yet again on his bed and in his arms. Ajwa couldn't believe what the hell happened to her in the night. Why those nightmares urged her to seek his warmth? But he too brought her here like he did last time when she was sleeping.

She clenched her jaw as she could again faintly remember everything. He just laid her down on the bed, it was she who went near him. Nevertheless, why did he do this?

She now looked at Faris's face. He was definitely handsome with those attractive features. And now he didn't even remind her of his brother. Faris was a different person with having distinct personality and she was slowly realizing it. The fact that her heart was warming up to him was making her restless.

There was a unique glint that she was feeling by being this close to him. Her eyes wandered from his face to his throat and then his chest where her both hands were placed. She gulped to find they were making contact with his bare flesh since the upper few buttons of his shirt were open. Ajwa just kept on looking at him. Today, she didn't feel annoyed by him. She was feeling strange and unusual.

And then she felt a mesmerizing sensation on the small of her back. She got too taken aback by this that she closed her eyes and leaned into the touch. Without even realizing that the jerk was awakened and it was he who was making her feel delicious tingles.

"Again, sunshine?" She heard his raspy whisper.

She jumped out of her place at his voice and forced herself out of the fool's paradise. Was she enjoying his touch? It was so stupid. But soon she gain her composure and sat up but she still had her hands placed on his chest since he held them in his strong ones. Faris had a lopsided grin on his lips.

"Why did you do it?" She asked while grinding her teeth.

"I should be asking you this. I was sleeping soundly and then you seek my embrace just like last night, " Faris replied, simply.

Her cheeks turned crimson. "I meant why did you bring me on the bed?"

"Because you were uncomfortable there. I didn't like it that I should sleep on a comfortable bed and my wife sleeps in such misery," he asserted now with a serious expression.

It made her still. She never heard her father cared about her mother's well-being once. In all this while, Ajwa forgot that her hands were still engulfed by Faris's bigger ones and he was softly stroking her soft skin with his thumb.

"Then I want to shift to the other room," she murmured, fighting hard to not react to his touch. She wanted him to do it and stop doing it at the same time. She was getting weird day by day.

Faris's eyes narrowed and he suddenly left her hands. She felt empty but soon she realized he only removed them to encircle her slim waist.

"Wives live in their husbands' room, Ajwa," he softly told her.

She hissed. "Stop with this husband and wife analogy. I haven't accepted this marriage and I will never."

He abruptly left her and sat at a distance from her. "Why?"

Ajwa straightened herself and got out of bed. "Because I was forced into this marriage. It killed my sister's happiness."

Faris gave her a long silent look before sighing. "It was Faraan. Not me."

She hoped it was him. At least she could hate him wholeheartedly and wouldn't have felt any feelings. But here Faris's existence in her life had rooted so many beautiful emotions in her heart. She liked his presence. She liked his intimacy. She liked the way he spoke. She liked his gentleness. Heck, she liked everything about him.
