Faraan tried to remove those gripping hands on his throat but to no avail. He wasn't able to breathe. His eyes turned red and bloodshot as that person's grasp was increasing. What was he? Why did he reach this place?

"You aren't doing good. You will pay for what you are doing if you won't wake up before time," he spoke in a terror-stricken voice by which Faraan almost felt his soul had been sucked out of his body.

Suddenly a light dawned upon his face and then his whole body jerked.

Faraan found himself laying in bed. His whole body was drenched in sweat and he was breathless. He could feel his heartbeat in his ears. Was this a dream? How horrible it was.

He aimlessly roamed his hands over the side table and pushed the button of the lamp. The room got lightened up by a white light. He quickly filled a glass of water for himself and gulped it down his throat.

The sound of the call to Azaan was reverberating in the surrounding. It was the fajar time perhaps. Faraan swallowed the bitter taste as he again got reminded of the nightmare. It was so scary that even again goosebumps formed on his skin. Faraan ran a palm over his face as he gazed here and there.

The creepiness he felt from it was utterly unbelievable strangely.

The next day, Ajwa had prepared Faris's favorite food and left for the police station. Today she had decided to finally tell the SHO about Faris having a twin. Even if she didn't have enough evidence against him, at least their attention should be brought up to the fact that there wasn't only Faris who looked like that person in the video.

She paid the rickshaw driver and walked towards the opened gate of the police station. She was stopped by an inspector who saw the shopping bags in her hand.

"What is this?" He asked, rudely.

"I have brought a meal for my husband," she said.

He narrowed his eyes at her. "The prisoner has no permission to use anything other than what jails provide him."

"What's the issue in bringing food for him?" She argued in annoyance.

The inspector glared at her. "It's against the rule. All the prisoners eat together which is given to them by the jail authority. You can't give him anything privately."

Ajwa shook her head. "You are making no sense."

Inspector pulled a finger in front of her face. "Madam, this is a jail, not your house that you keep on getting on our nerves like this. If you do this again, then SHO will surely not allow you to meet your husband. Every day you come and pull a scene."

Ajwa scowled at him. "Then I won't him myself. But at least you can do this."

He made a distasteful face and nodded. "Give me."

After a while, she was led by another inspector towards the lockup. She could see Faris standing at the other corner, his back towards him.

"Hey, your attendant is here," the inspector called him.

Faris knew right away who he would be. A satisfying curl struck his lips as he turned around. He knew even if everyone in this world would leave him, Ajwa wouldn't. He was well aware that even if everything would be pointed toward his involvement in all this, she wouldn't believe it. Even if there was darkness all along, she was indeed a sunshine who lit up his life.

"Faris," Ajwa whispered. "How are you?"

He seemed the same resilient and strong as he did the other day. Even though his face showed the tiredness and the gravity of their situation, his body language and expressions were calm and firm.
