Ajwa knew that the way Faraan had framed his brother for his crimes wouldn't get revealed unless some pieces of evidence were obtained against him. It was much more difficult than what she assumed earlier. They were twins and Faraan had done everything with proper planning behind it. She was well aware that she needed to show her guard down so that Faraan would stop thinking of her as his enemy.

That was the motive behind why she didn't go to their house in the countryside after getting rejected by her father. She stayed at Faris's parents' house where Faraan also lived. She wanted to find any opportunity to find any clue that could help her prove her husband's innocence in front of the whole world.

That was why she corrected her behavior with Faraan and didn't blatantly show her resentment towards him. She made it seem like in front of Faraan that she submitted all those accusations against Faris and she was disappointed in him. Ajwa knew that this was the only way she could come into a safe zone in Faraan's list. He would try to manipulate her considering she was vulnerable now.

Sometimes she also thought back on what Faraan used to say to her. Like he once said he would teach her a good lesson and the fact that he wanted her back. It often used to intimidate her recalling what he would do now. Also, there must be some ulterior goal behind why Faraan used Faris's identity from the start. But the next moment she inferred that he could not do anything with her because Ajwa also had a strong lead here since she was portraying to be affected by what Faris did. She would deliberately show that Faraan could steer her however he wanted. So of course she wasn't susceptible and oblivious here.

But something strange happened. Faraan never did or said anything questionable to her. He seldom appeared in front of her. He even remained in the house for less time. He most of the time remained outside. Also, he stopped interacting with other family members as well. He seemed weird and detached from the whole world.

For once he talked to her, was when she was reciting the Holy Quran that morning. And then when he asked her about why wasn't she meeting Faris. The reason why she wasn't going to lock up was also just to give this impression to Faraan that she now didn't believe in Faris and she was severely traumatized by it. All this was necessary for her to give Faraan an idea that he was successful in his plan and now Ajwa was at his mercy.

In all this while, Ajwa wanted to delve into this matter more meticulously. She already could differentiate between both the twins but she knew they looked alike to the rest of the world. And that was the very thing that Faraan had taken advantage of. She was well aware of that small scar under Faraan's eye which wasn't present at Faris's face. But she didn't have enough evidence yet to make this a basis for reaching out to cops to save Faris.

Living here for those two weeks, made her realize that it wasn't just a small and minor scar. It was very deep and prominent. A crescent-shaped scar, now having the same color as skin. When she tried to gain information about this from Fiza, she told her that her Faraan brother had this since she saw him but she wasn't sure of how it happened. Ajwa was precise and careful to get full information because Faris and Faraan were twins and what if it was a birthmark? If it was, it must be present on Faris's cheek as well which probably faded away or must not be that distinguished as of Faraan.

One day in random talks, she asked this from Raima without making anything obvious. And then she got to know that Faraan got this wound when he was ten years old and he fell from the bicycle. This strengthened Ajwa's case more. Now only proof of Faraan and Alice together was needed.

But perhaps finding another very important clue was also in her fate. That would prove to be a last straw in this case and would make them have a victory.

Marina had been disturbing Faraan for quite a long time. She had been calling him endlessly. She thought Faraan had been ditching her as she couldn't get Faris if he would get the punishment in Faraan's place. In the beginning, Faraan answered her and told her that she shouldn't worry about it. As the charge of Alice's murder would die away, neither Faris nor Faraan would be affected by it. He threatened her that if she backstabbed him, he would show her real face to Faris.
