Faraan confidently tilted his head. "I want to marry Ajwa again so that---"

"Stop it, Faraan!" Faris growled unexpectedly leaving him stunned.

Faraan looked at his twin in confusion. What was he all of a sudden? He remembered Faris never raised his voice ever. He always spoke in a calm and slow voice. But along with it, his red eyes filled with anger, and prominent veins on his neck due to clenching his jaw tightly. were also something that he never saw before.

"What's wrong with you?" Faraan mumbled in confusion. Then he again looked at Burak. "Dad, I was saying I want to marry Ajwa---"

"She is my wife, Faraan," Faris muttered with gritted teeth.

Faraan's eyes widened with shock. For a moment, he couldn't believe his hearing. The girl who was his fiance was his brother's wife? How could this happen? He perhaps thought he misheard. This could never be the truth. How came Faris took what was meant to be his? But soon the period of disbelief passed and then Faraan's whole body tensed due to resentment. He curled his fingers in a fist and glared at his twin.

"What the hell did you just say?" He snarled.

"That's right. We married Ajwa to Faris because you left us alone like this," Raima replied instead.

"Was I dead? Didn't I have to come back that you gave my thing to him?" He now shouted at his father.

"Don't misbehave, Faraan. She is my wife and I want respect for her," Faris said firmly which irked Faraan.

"Shut up! You are a swindler. You claimed your right over the woman who was meant to be mine. How come you get so low?" Faraan's whole face was red from anger.

Faris on the other hand didn't want to create a scene over his wife. Neither this was his nature nor he liked to pull a fight with Faraan. Ajwa was his honor now and he didn't want her name to get disrespected like this by his own brother.

He gave his twin a pointed look. "Don't you forget that you left your wedding day? And don't you dare use such language for my wife?"

"You jerk..."

"Faraan, it's enough now!" Raima had to interfere seeing both brothers fighting with each other.

"It's not enough, Mama. You guys even took part in this betrayal with him. I had to come back. I wouldn't have died there. When I myself was adamant to marry Ajwa then why did you guys think that I would leave her at the altar? I literally fight you guys to get her proposal," Faraan tried to reason.

Burak who was silent from the start of the argument finally broke the ice and looked at Faraan with anger. "There was written in the letter that you didn't want to marry her. Besides, you left us humiliated in front of so many guests. What could we have done? Marrying her off to Faris seemed the best option."

Faraan sighed. "It was a lie. I only wrote that because I didn't want you guys to get worried for me. But I think I should have told you guys the truth. An idiot even can understand how much I liked Ajwa. Who fool would fight to get a girl if he didn't like her? I literally broke my years-long engagement for her sake."

Faris clenched his jaw to stop himself from saying anything harsh. He felt like doing something to get his wife's mention away from his brother's mouth forever.

"What has to happen has already occurred, Faraan. She is Faris's wife now," Raima stated.

At this, Faraan glanced at his twin with bloodshot red eyes. So much disdain was present in this stare. "He always keeps an eye on what is mine. From toys to clothes to everything. No wonder he used the opportunity and claimed my woman as well. He snatched away my fiance as well. But I won't let that happen."
