      |•• [ TWO (2) WEEKS LATER ] |••

In the morning, Marina left her house to reach her working place. She had managed to get a job for herself in a small private hospital; very remote from the city. She even changed her name because she was afraid her ex-husband would again track her and would try to sabotage her job. For now, she was glad his keen eyes weren't able to chase her. But she knew very soon, he would find that and then she again had to live those starving and painful days.

He just wanted revenge on Marina even after looting her for everything she possessed. He couldn't see her happy and again moving on in her life. If she would, he was afraid she might again fight him. Once she was so rich, proud, and arrogant, now she was left with nothing. Not even ego. That man had tricked her in his love and then took away her wealth from her. Marina couldn't even do anything.

Now she thought she was getting the punishment for what she did with Faris. He was so sincere with her but she never got serious about the relationship. She was attracted to him and didn't want to let him go but at the same time, she disliked his restrictions and the idea of getting married this soon. She was like a free bird and Faris was making her caged his demand. Marina couldn't accept this.

However, presently she was thinking that his demand was better than the life she had been living currently. It was just a wedding and with this, just her being honest to Faris. Two things which she despised in the past yet now she badly wanted something to revert this. Marina singlehandedly had to take care of her younger siblings now as her parents died shortly after the mishap with her.

She wanted Faris back in her life. She would even ask forgiveness and even went down to hold his feet even just to ask for forgiveness. She needed him very much. Only he could bring her out of this situation.

And perhaps her prayers got answered today. She was standing on the side of the main road in search of the rickshaw. Suddenly a red sports car stopped in front of her. Marina initially didn't pay heed to it but when it never left, she looked at it. Seeing the person sitting in the driving seat, her eyes widened in surprise, disbelief, and happiness both. She couldn't believe it. Was it him? He was the same handsome as before, perhaps more than that.

When their gazes met, a smile struck his lips. He opened the door of his side and came out of the car. He was wearing a white shirt with white dress pants and a denim blue jacket over his chiseled biceps and muscular chest. He removed the glasses from his eyes and his grey eyes bore into her.

"Faris," she whispered, still so uncertain. Why did he come to her when a few months ago, he was so cold with her?

"Marina." His voice was the same husky and manly as before.

"You here," she mumbled.

"How are you?" He asked, completely ignoring what she was saying.

"I am good after seeing you, Faris. Tell me, you want me back and you still love me. That's why you are here. I also love you, Faris. I can't live without you. Please forgive me and accept me back in your life..." She uttered enthusiastically, making him twist his facial expressions but soon he was back to be glancing at her so lovingly.

"Come in the car. Let's have a talk," he announced, twirling the key on his index finger.

"But Faris, did you forgive me?" She touched his arm.

"Baby do what I am saying. C'mon don't waste my time," he declared in irritation.

Marina nodded sternly and then followed him toward his car. Faris was back to her. The attraction of their love had pulled him back to her. It was like a dream come true.
