Chapter LXXVII: Fever

VICTORIA'S POV:

We are now going home which ang tahimik ni Mommy bigla eh panalo naman kami sa games anong problema nito?

Last time when Thirdy left Tita Imee, Tita Liza and Tito Bong left also as they have individual errands to do pa daw sinadya lang talaga nila si Chanak.

We are now here inside sa car which kanina pa talaga ako nagwowonder sa Mommy, she seems not okay so I will ask her.

"Mommy are you okay?", I asked which she looked at me.

"Yeah I am, napagod lang but it's worth it because I am with you anak", she said which I immediately hugs her.

"Thank you so much Mommy this is my first time to attend family day", I said and it made me cry.

Flashbacks:

I was 13 years old that time which this coming Monday will be our school family day so as I'm so excited I then go home sa to tell it Mommy Judith about it.

I'm running when I found out that Daddy and her are talking which matagal ko nang di nakikita si Daddy which I'm so happy and hugged him tightly.

"Daddy I miss you, are you going to go back to us?", I asked.

"No I am here to finally cut off our connection to each other especially to your mother", he said and take off my hands from him.

"Daddy please come back, it's family day tomorrow please", I said keep crying.

"Stop Andrea are you out of your mind. Wala ng family day we are broken", Mommy said that hurts me more.

"No sige na kahit bukas lang please samahan nyo ako please", I keep begging.

"Fine, for one last time tomorrow", Daddy said which I quickly hugged him back.

"Ano ba nahihibang kaba Carl?", Mommy said in frustration.

"Para sa bata Judith, kahit sa isang pagkakataon man lang", he said which I'm so happy.

I wake up early as I'm really excited and ready for our first family day together so I cooked our breakfast and waited for them.

Mommy came down with her pink shirt as we are the pink team as what I was assigned, and she sitted eating the breakfast I prepared.

"Mommy does Daddy call na ba?", I asked drinking my milk.

"Not yet", she said coldly.

I just finished my foods and we drive going to my school, as I texted Daddy na sa school nalang kami magkikita.

The program then now starting which 30 minutes na ang nakalipas but still wala pa din si Daddy but I keep hoping na dumating siya so I waited for more hours.

All the games are finished and hapon na wala pa din si Daddy and Mommy's phone rings and it's Lala Helen calling.

On Call:

"Wag kayong tanga magsi-uwi kayo!", Lala shouted.

"Ma?", Mommy asked.

"Sumama na ang hinayupak mong asawa sa babae nya papuntang Spain", Lala said which breaks me into tiny pieces.

Mommy walk faster without minding that I'm sitting on the ground trying to sink in my mind what I just heard that he left, he left me.
